For MSVC use 'nmake' and 'nmake install'. You may need to open a VStudio comandLine like. Something like "VS2013 x64 Native Tools Command Prompt" from your start menu, just like he did in the video for Qt comandLine.
Really thank you! I am still a beginner and I spent a lot of time to figure out how i can install Qwt correctly! you saved my life! It worked perfectly!
I did as what this video said and had no problem with examples in qwt folder. However, I had problem with the project I created: it is said 'qwt_plot.h': No such file or directory I can use visual studio to run my created project. but not the qt creator
My case for Windows: If you replaced qwt folder from C:\Qwt-*version* to somewhere else, 1. Make sure QMAKEFEATURES according to real destination folder 2. Edit QMAKEFEATURES\qwtconfig.pri file and fix QWT_INSTALL_PREFIX variable (win32 section) Maybe will helpful for somebody else.
Thank you for this video. I'm using QT 5.7.0 and got the following compiler warning (mingw32 on Windows 7): # warning Header is deprecated. Please include instead. I changed the include statement in qwt-6.1.3\designer\qwt_designer_plugin.h: #include changed to: #include

I changed the include statement in qwt-6.1.3\designer\qwt_designer_plugin.h:

Maybe the ide is 64 bits and you are using mingw32
Could be. Thank you. Also, maybe I got the deprecated warning because I'm using QT 5.7.0
