Building a DIY van conversion is difficult, and we failed to build a lot during our DIY van build, including build a murphy bed in our van conversion. How did we build our DIY campervan conversion, and what did we FAIL to build in this van conversion? We ran into a lot of problems in our custom DIY van conversion, and these were the reason we had to give up on some of our unique custom DIY van build ideas.

I have seen Murphy beds used in other builds. LOL, my designs have changed several times. Most people, myself included, Have to redo things because of the GVWR.

Yes, Murphy beds are possible, just the payload was not enough in our case. If we upgrade our licenses to 3.5t + we can do so many more cool stuff. Luckily we noticed the weight issues before having to dismantle our work.
