So you want to be a bum and steal someone else's? Do you have any respect for yourself? Can't even spell maritime right no wonder you're broke.
It won't help you. Maritime law is the system of laws that apply in international waters. It's completely irrelevant to the situation.
Squatter's rights on the other hand; those are legal precedents by which an individual can claim ownership over unclaimed or abandoned property. the exact criteria very by region, so you'll have to do your own research, but it's usually something along the lines that you have to be able to prove that you've been living on and maintaining the property for a certain period of time.

To be fair the family treat him like shit all the time even then he not doing anything an yet you have people like Lewis that cool with Klaus
They started treating klaus like shit way before he became a dick. They realized after the fact that by making him a dick they could lessen the impact of the family treating him like shit.
Not into Family Guy or spin offs yet ( senior home TV, I'll catch up😉 then,) but Roger (Seth,) speaks truth regarding squatting here in California. LA air B&B just ousted a gal living almost a year rent free in his very nice Beverly Hills digs‼️ Oh, and she's trying to sue the owner🤦🏼♀️
