I'm from Lancaster, PA and can confirm Hardy was the last artist to ever perform at the Chameleon Club. Wish I could've been at that show, but I saw a ton of great shows there before it closed.
i opened that show and saw some of my favorite bands there over the years. It was a great club.
Fantastic Episode! Truly I think he one of the greatest writers out there.
Really enjoy your podcast!!!! Keep this going!!! Glad you are doing video as well as audio!
I love listening to Hardy talk 😊
This is amazing. Super inspiring and much needed podcast. I have absolutely loved watching Hardy’s career grow. It’s magic when people break the mold and make others feel more comfortable to experiment and pursue something out of their norm.
I'm back.....46:00 minute in talking about Stephen Wilson Jr. Was not familiar with him until this podcast. That Dude is on fucking fire man. That shit was unlike anything I have heard, maybe ever. So cool.....I'm so thankful I found his music through this podcast.
Thanks for commenting this (I forgot the name and I was meaning to check him out) so I’m going to go do that now lol
Man, I love Hardy's quote about not having Plan B. Just stick with Plan A and keep working until that works out. Loved this interview, thanks!
This is really, really good. Great work from Troy, and it seems Zach Abend is the next hot thing. I'll buy shares.
The podcast is awesome man. It really helps me out as a young songwriter learning what others have been through and the journey they have had to reach a career in music. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for this !! I am a huge Hardy fan and I love seeking out podcast!
Wow a degree in songwriting , who knew ? Hardy has good energy . Seems like a real salt of the earth kinda guy. I remember when I first heard “wait in the truck” while driving, I had to pull over and listen and then the stations just played it Adnauseam ,but it’s still a great piece of writing ,Very cool channel ,keep it goin Troy ! New subscriber here. 👍
Let me help you guys out with some of the best of the 90s decade in country ,pretty much all about Garth, Trisha, Martina McBride, Reba, Vince Gill, Brooks & Dunn, Dixie Chicks ,George Strait, K.Chesney,TobyKeith,
Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, Faith & Tim, the Judds, to name just a few the heavies .
Great deal!! The Alchemist and The War of Art... Amazing! Aloha from Hawaii!🤙
cool podcast, I'm new to the channel. Thanks for doing this!
thanks for listening brother
Love Hardy!! Awesome interview!!
All she left was me is a banger, man!
The biggest question I could ask... Is there any hope for songwriters that don't live in Nashville?
of course there's hope! just depends what you're trying to do. if you're trying to write mainstream country songs for a living - nashville is the place. if you're trying to create art, you can do that anywhere in the world.
Oh I need the Stephen Wilson jr episode.
I need the link to the hat hardy is wearing
I love hardy but he knows it’s Zach who changed country music for the popular people
