It’s not often I see a beach with rocks instead of sand. Loved the sound of Ivy walking on them though, very soothing. Ivy did so well still, her determination is something and while a work in progress she’s shown promise at the same time.
That would be interesting, though Sherpa is quite old so IDK how they’d get along. And he just had dental surgery. Ivy appears to get along with Key, but maybe it’s because he’s younger than Sherpa.

Just an FYI, not all dogs can float. Stocky build (Bulldogs, Pitties, Rottweilers, Boxers) and very lean dogs (Whippets, greyhounds) have the hardest time floating. I would suggest buying Ivy a DFD, a.k.a. a Doggy life vest. And they do exist. We well them where I work.
She can actually swim we have tried but we are encouraging her to do it herself. She just loves paddling not swimming and we have a life jacket as we take her paddle boarding. Safety first 😊 but you are right not all dogs can swim 🐾

She has swam off the paddle board but just chooses not to and loves to paddle instead. If we go in she goes off digging holes 😂
