I know basically nothing about Hitman. But my friend who is a big fan showed me this video and I was on the floor crying at some of the shit I was seeing.
This was one of the most engaging videos I have watched in a LONG time. I felt so involved and actually captivated by the content. These are really addicting, and it's impressive that there are still things unknown even to people who have endlessly played. The original Hitman games were great, but they really made something special with the reboot, it's even fun for people like me who suck at stealth. Also, it's really cool you're giving prizes because I'm sure these guys would do it just for the recognition or for fun.
I remember watching the VOD few months back when he awarded the violin flying angel of death the 2nd place my jaw immediately dropped, today i had exact same reaction :'). Btw the eight months that were spent editing this were 100% worth it
Trzebiat is actually a very iconic hitman community guy. He makes very nice guide videos on his channel, showcases his insane skill like somehow being able to kill all 11 targets in Berlin without hunting them individually and many others. He didnt compete for the prize here obviously but he was still the most memorable one of these for me.
It's so awesome how Atrioc is creating these events/challenges for a game he loves and enjoys playing. Making me feel like it can blossom into something bigger in the future especially with OFFBRAND.
Somehow I'm more impressed with the 3rd guy, MulletPride. He walked out from the Wanted movie. Except the window shoot at the end (which benefit from a bug), everything makes perfect sense. All the others are just mastering bug uses, or system (dude that waited for system counter to reset). And the winner is the master of all timing, I fear that the host just challenged an alien because no player shoots a pistol that way. I learned so many things about this game, thank you all, kindly.
Great job on the gameplay inserts. They each made the video so much better. The editing for this one was on point. And thank you to the runners who were fantastic. Such good content.
This was seriously such an insane video, I hadn't watched the stream/vod so everything was a surprise, especially with how many times I thought "okay, THIS is first place SURELY" and jesus christ how many times can I be so wrong yet be so glad I was. Absolutely incredible from everyone involved from every part of this competition and excellently edited/presented, a top display of both speedrunning and gaming in general.
I own this game and I've played it like 2 times and i've never watched a hitman youtube video before. THIS VIDEO WAS INSANELY ENTERTAINING. I loved it. It was an awesome way to see what's possible in these games and was a fun wild ride. Great contest, great video, great editing.

Fucking incredible, this is everything I love about speedrunning. Also, first time I've seen an Atrioc video, and needless to say I'm impressed. Editing is phenomenal, presentation and explanations are great. Super cool thing you put together!
I haven't played the new Hitman, but I played contracts and blood money so much I could do stuff like this. I played those levels thousands of times. Especially blood money, I love this series.
27:21 when you’re playing MW2 (classic) with your buddy and run into a modded lobby and have to equip commando pro so that you don’t die from jumping insanely high
Last time I was as astonished I am now, was when I was into RuneScape, and how tight that game can be played, but now I don't even play the game myself that surprises me with its players. It's beautiful how you can play the game, like that blind card shuffler who can recognize the cards by the feel of the edges of the cards, and then being able to just set the deck up in any way he wants while looking like he is actually shuffling.
I'm the creator of this map, Caustrix. Thanks for checking this map out! I actually started at 30 something downloads, not 50, and now it's up to 95 as I type this. That's a huge boost! There's 7 Players with 8th one being AI (+1 player basically) while this doesn't work well for team games, works well for diplo. 2. The map is no longer a ring shape. The reason there's water in the middle is to eliminate pavilions to reduce lag. This map is going to be an island in the middle, but it won't be small by any means. You'll only be losing a little bit of land at the edges. This will allow for more open field travel and choice of who you want to attack. This map has around 200 less pavilions than the first one, further reducing lag. 3. You start with a flamethrower instead of a tarkan, which does 3x the damage of a tarkan. This should make starting out less boring or slow. The map having 1 more player and more free roam choice means players will be able to reach each other faster, so matches should be a fair shorter as well. This does not mean games will be short. It will just be normal length. Remember there's resources to collect when pavilions break. 4. The trees will be bushes and the terrain will be desert to make it more visible, because the bamboo in the first one seemed to blend into the terrain. 5. With how common tactics were used in this competition, I kinda feel like having never played a hitman game I might have a shot given a week. I mean, it's like a segmented speedrun. Once you get a good strat, you tease it out. Then compare against other methods.
