@@austinkim9337 Pieter Muller right ? I’ll check his Instagram He appears in the “Dior and I” documentary about Raf’s first show for Dior Haute Couture Thanks dude
@@austinkim9337 that's dope someone confirmed it, wanted to know as well. also pieter muller was was raf's right hand guy for many years and co-director at calvin klein with raf.
the re-edition and og argument is by far the dumbest argument to have especially in the fashion community. If the fabric hasn't changed and the process used to apply the font to the garment has pretty much stayed the same. Then your really just buying fleece with font screen printed onto the front. Sure its history but history has a tendency to repeat itself so who cares. A new generation can now appreciate what they may never had the chance to. period
Probably my favorite vlog from your channel, loved it bro. About the Raf redux i don't even know what to think. I mean Raf deserves the success of this collection, his 20yo clothes are reselling for thousands of dollars and everything was on sale at this time so he deserves to get something. I was able to pick up the Virginia Creeper sweater from your video, it's definitely a big grail of mine but it's still unorwn in my closet and something inside me still wants the shit from 20y ago And after all, Raf is doing all that for the youth. I wasn't even born when he started his own brand and today if i want something from this era it's definitely possible because of this Redux Co
Raf is doing it for the money, dude. Easy sales for the stockists as well. Especially in financially strenuous times like the pandemic, this redux made perfect sense. Raf’s brand is independent, so he needs all the money he can get.
I think the remasters of old Raf is good because it allows people to get there grail piece but I think it should be done in different colours or some different materials to the original. The only thing I could see wrong about this remasters is if you owned the original 😂
Cut out dairy, did wonders for me. Used a dermatologist and spent lots of money only to come up with topical and antibiotics that are temporary because your nutrition and diet contributes immensely to your acne. So if you don’t change your diet and keep taking medications, you’ll be on a vicious cycle. You should read how the lactose in dairy creates a androgen that’s a precursor to testosterone and other hormones that contribute to male acne. Majored in human biology at uni and learned the hard way. Also helps to drop the trans and saturated unnatural fats. I didn’t want to post something huge that’s littered with confusing biological and physiological terminology but if you want to have a convo and bit more insight hmu!
this was definitely useful information bro thanks for the comment definitely reach out to me on instagram im always open to more knowledge on this topic because i learn more and more every day about what steps i have to take to calm my acne
In my perspective, I feel like a brand is giving a "replica" in a legitimate path by reissuing their old product. The product satisfy the needs but unable to retain the feels back in the days.
I think re-issues are kinda lame, but I don’t judge ppl who cop them. Like the HL reissues were wack, but for some reason these raf reissues don’t bother me as much. I doubt that they’ll ever be as cherished as the OG though.
I don’t personally think so. I think it’s understandable for an independent brand to reap the success of it’s past collections in the present day; especially since they didn’t sell too well upon initial release. In addition to it being a pandemic, it’s important for independent brands to stay afloat. I think the people that are shitting on it are elitists who aren’t pleased with their stuff they paid thousands of dollars for being re-released. Also, he’s still releasing a ss21 collection, so it’s not like we’re losing a season or anything.
@@JohnDoe-vf3qo i think thats pretty disingenuous to say. A lot of brands still offer great things, rafs namesake label is gonna suffer because he’s affiliated with prada now. Also raf is an industry favourite for a while now which explains the cd positions hes been given.
@@JohnDoe-vf3qo i care about neither of them. If you think everything anyone makes is regurgitated season after season, why even follow anything fashion related? the raf redux pieces actually use the same enzymes as the original.

reissue is really smart, raf should make the big bucks from his clothing, not some reseller whom sells it for 200% markup.
if you want as easy solution for your acne without paying a fuck ton for dermas, just ask your gp for a topical retin-a prescription
Are the Raf Re-issues reselling?
mainly the nebraska and cargos are, rest ive seen basically retail

raf redux was a lazy approach to commemorating the 25th anniversary of his namesake label. it shows his stagnation imo.
