Congratulations Bob Welch. You just proved me wrong. You are the first member of the press that actually did not totally back up the Warren Commission. To say that you don't know is a clear break away from the rest of the press, who were there that fateful day. God bless you for pointing out how the 6th floor museum heavily favors the Warren Report. That took some real guts, and that's something you have had all your life. The life that you have lived is totally amazing.
@donbartels153 You need to tell us, if not of the WC, which "report" did you totally back? Don't tell us you and your Oswald-apologist pals never got around to writing one!
Kudos to the SixthFloorMuseum for their Living History series. A special thanks for making this man's views available to be analyzed in 100 years! The man behind the camera.
He is such a character I just Googled him to find out more about him and found out he passed away in Dec 2016 of a heart attack. He was 80 years old. God rest his soul!
There are a lot of adjectives that you could say to describe Mr. Bob Welch. I sure wish I could have met this brilliant "MAN". Thank you so much Missy Sample for the update of Mr. Bob Welch. How you said it May God rest his soul!
This is absolutely one of the best of the presentations. I could have easily listened to another two hours of his stuff, especially with Steven’s fantastic careful and precise interview tactics, I guess you’d call them. I’d love to see which of the audience or family members he keeps looking meaningfully at. I hope his daughters left his big folder of obituaries to the Sixth Floor Museum. I told my husband that is on my bucket list, to go there at some point in time…..he’s older than me but he doesn’t give a damn about JFK’s assassination. Not one iota. Maybe RFK. Me, I was 3 but I’ve always been fascinated. I remember watching the funeral as a little thing. I ran in to the kitchen to tell my mom the President was dead and she said “yes dear, I know.”
I love this guy, He sat there talking about how the museum backs the warren commission, and how shallow and hard to buy the warren report is MASSIVE BALLS AND IM SURPRISED THAT THE MUSEUM DIDNT DESTROY THIS VIDEO!!!SO IMPRESSED
It is actually awesomely nice of them to let him speak his mind and speak for all the others that don’t push an agenda. But the museum is not just that theory, its the place and also towards the legacy of JFK. Very proper of them!
Why wasn’t he asked where he was when the shots rang out? If at the scene, How many shots did he hear? What was spacing? Did they sound alike? What was speed of motorcade at turn? When did motorcycles fall back? Where did he look, or think shots came from?
The film of the motorcade shows Bob with camera in the background.(way back) He was close to the president before in entered the vehicle , taking photos or film close up whilst standing. The president's motorcade left and continued on. He therefore was not necessarily within ear shot as he was 100s of metres back in the crowd when the president was shot. This was explained.
He said he was at the Trade Mart awaiting JFK's arrival after the parade. He saw the procession zoom by, headed for Parkland Hospital. Welch jumped into his car and closely followed behind the procession to the hospital. Bob Welch was not in Dealey Plaza during the shooting. He was assigned Love Field Airport and the Trade Mart, not the parade downtown...
At least two other microphones were present in the following minutes during Drs Perry's and Clark's presentations. Nobody at this point knows who the people holding those microphones and cables are.
All it took was one loser to ruin it all. Unreal. Having that sound to the Love Field footage added a lot; huge credit to him for capturing sound. Other footage from that day has no sound. He is spot-on about fanatics exaggerating an issue through edited videos. Its become a constant menace.
It looks very odd to see everyone smoking, my parents had an attorney friend from around this time that smoked in court. That's nuts hell even Dr's would smoke in the hospital.
Skippy, I have a sneaking suspicion you have nothing to worry about. I seriously doubt you're gonna be on this planet very long.....just a hunch 🙋♂️🤠🇺🇲

Outstanding for sure. Stephen Fagin especially.
Good interview. A decent and good man. R.I.P Bob Welch
Thank you for capturing this history for all of us.
Bob Welch was a treasure and a straightshooter. RIP and thanks for being a great storyteller.
He's awesome and funny as hell. He looks great for 79 he could pass for his 50's.

Yes
I love hearing his experiences! He was funny!
This was an amazing session! I just wonder if reporters like that even exist anywhere anymore!

Loved this man. Great speaker. And funny.
I'm watching this from Matlock in Derbyshire, England. Absolutely brilliant interviews - Stephen Fagin is passionate about what he does - thank you.
Love these living history interviews. Thanks so much. I was 13 years old in Pampa Texas in November 1963 whenJFK was assassinated.

He deftly called out the Museum's one-shooter point of view. Good for him.

Yes it was good that they let him call them for what they sell there.
Enjoyed listening to this guy and at times he reminds me of Jack Nicholson lol.
Aye, right enough, he does a wee bit.
WOW THIS MAN HAD SEEN A LOT IN HIS LIFE!...WISH HE WAS STILL ALIVE,WOULD LOVE TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TALK TO HIM!

Still chasing conspiracies huh?

I can't believe somebody would steal his film and send it to NYC.
Definitely a one of a kind , or at least one sitting at the head table! His mannerisms were very Nicholas esque!

I just 💘 him. What a fine gentleman

My mother was offended because her surgeon had a sign on his waiting room, "No Smoking."
He’s a hoot
Think maybe Bob had a couple of cocktails before the show...
Skippy 3860 I don't see a damn thing wrong with this guy he's having a good time telling his story
I really liked his song "Ebony Eyes".
Clint Hill on pics !!! My hero 😊✊🙏
I loved Bob Welch when he left Fleetwood Mac & wrote the songs Ebony Eyes & Sentimental Lady.
@Sly Foxx: You're thinking of Bob Weir
I liked Bob when he was with FM.
@Stddisclaimer8020 stop telling people what they’re thinking. Bob Welch was with Fleetwood Mac and wrote those songs
This man was like Zelig!
A lot of people loved JFK in Dallas Nov22/63 , all it takes is a few , to ruin things .

I need to clear my throat, for some reason.
I hope to God I don't end up like this if I grow old.
On the contrary, I hope that I am very much like this guy!!
