Just as she did not care to wake up the people on the Demeter, something that also would have been easy for her to do.

I think it may have been the flower that was brought on board the ship. I think those white flowers contain all the information to colonize a new biosphere.
The white flower that Chris brought and put with the computer chips. That's the same plant with the yellow ooze that merged with LEVI. So just like how the original LEVI pulled up a flower and its root ball contained that mini bio-LEVI. The flower on the shuttle also grew a LEVI.
Struggled to love it. No consistency or coherence with the natural laws of this planet made this tough to stick with. I’m 100 % good with alternate worlds but everything has boundaries… or nothing has context. This show has seemingly none after five episodes and it becomes tiresome just body horror and low grade survivalism. There’s a good story in there but too much, “we need a new, weird way for gross things to die” as a backdrop.

interesting it really wouldn't make sense to call those who see "too deep" into something as shallow. shallowness by definition is characterized by a lack of depth, a lack of conversation, a judgemental attitude, & lack of genuine care. the forgotten factor here is subjective view. and with art even more so. as depth in art is highly subjective. a childs doodle has depth to a parent. a cartoon has depth to a child. an anti war song could evoke sadness to some, while it could evoke an angering rally to another culture. thus engagement in art is by definition far from shallowness. what we have here is interesting because by the simple misuse of the word shallow, what is then displayed is great example of psychological projection.

Though, we'll have to see if anything else comes from this in S2! (ifthereisans2)
Levi become a parent that kidnaps awesome
Just finished this show today. Took only 3 days lol Amazing...but does anyone know if there is a season 2 yet bc this has to be one of the best sci fi shows Ive watched...maybe ....ever????
HBOMax just announced the show was canceled. They say it will be Netflix's decision on whether it will remain to be the case.
@@simonnot8487 wth why?!! And why does netflix get to decide?!
@@peterc504 Netflix has acquired nonexclusive rights to stream Season 1 beginning the end of May. They are considering on picking the show up, but won't say until after the debut of the show on their platform.
As for why HBOMax canceled? Hard to say. It is dumping season for everyone, and many other shows were recently announced to be canceled. There's some saying that HBOMax couldn't get the original guys back to produce the animation. I can't say really. Maybe others can fill in for me.
Does this fucking suck? Like what happened with Inside Job, YES!!!
@@simonnot8487 that's terrible the show has been praised by everyone that has seen it. Hopefully net flix is smart and green lights another season especially how it ended in such a cliff hanger way... happy to hear an update though and hopefully we see season 2....
@@simonnot8487 how long until Netflix decides if they will add another season?
Love the space monks!
I'm pretty sure all the plants and baby Levi's drank all the water
BABY LEVI'S!!!!! YAAAAAASSSSSS
If this is a animated series that shows even a fraction of what The Dark Age of Man looks like in the Warhammer universe I swear I’m making a Levi figurine!. In all seriousness guys a AI coming in contact with what appears to be early followers of the Imperium of Mankind? Season 2 is gonna be insane for sure
For me it's clear whats next. Avatar and Warhamer 40k themes... Heretics and xenos will burn, inquisition is coming. conquer the paradise from Vangelis playing in the background. Get ready for season 2

I like the nod to Dune in the final scene,
Kris is gonna get fucked up by the adeptus mechanicus
emperor of man out here, necons next?
How did baby Levi get onto the ship when only the flower was there?
The flowers were making the baby Levi's
How come the little levi is there?
It sprouted from the flowers
how did the little guy get in the ship
Oh it's all full of holes from the wreck
I think it may have been the flower that was brought on board the ship. I think those white flowers contain all the information to colonize a new biosphere.
The white flower that Chris brought and put with the computer chips. That's the same plant with the yellow ooze that merged with LEVI. So just like how the original LEVI pulled up a flower and its root ball contained that mini bio-LEVI. The flower on the shuttle also grew a LEVI.
@@voltijuice8576Thanks
I thought that Kris character was a boy. It's the way she'd looks and everything.
The ending was crap! And didn’t make sense! But episodes 1-11 were great
Struggled to love it.
What do you mean by natural laws? It's alien, so isn't that a paradox?
I found the series very beautiful and thoughtful.
@@stellersjay an alien biosphere would have its own rules it operates on and it would have some it shares in common with earth, but it would follow rules nonetheless.
Like them still running around without environmental suits or even masksafter the place showed a whole bunch of ways to screw them over?
I can see the issue from that angle, ar least.
A beautiful place, and not all of it has to make sense to the viewer's limited perspective...
But i ain't going there without full environmental suits.
It's an alien world that's been barely touched. What do you want? An in depth monologue by Levi about how every living micro-organism works? A endlessly drab and dull slog of a scene giving the history of the planet? You have eyes, ears, and experience with nature. Put the pieces together and watch the show tell you through the medium it's chosen.
@@fractalgemTo be fair, it's most likely everyone who wasn't in cryo were just trying to get out alive with little time to get the necessary supplies at all.
Shallow people looking too deep into a corporate product.
May be a corporate product but it still has passionate people working on it.
Why act this way? Is it really so hard to let people enjoy what they want to enjoy?
Your insecurity is really showing.
@@OfLanceTheLonginus more like yours. people get so offended when I point out the obvious. Maybe it's my broken spine idk. Fuck wit.
Ykno what’s sad? I would’ve absolutely heard him out if he explained his hot opinion…but what does he do?
Refuses to back his points and listens to that insignificant part of his brain going “you just got name called!!! Name call him back!!”
This is super embarrassing
interesting
it really wouldn't make sense to call those who see "too deep" into something as shallow.
shallowness by definition is characterized by a lack of depth, a lack of conversation, a judgemental attitude, & lack of genuine care.
the forgotten factor here is subjective view. and with art even more so. as depth in art is highly subjective.
a childs doodle has depth to a parent.
a cartoon has depth to a child.
an anti war song could evoke sadness to some, while it could evoke an angering rally to another culture.
thus engagement in art is by definition far from shallowness.
what we have here is interesting because by the simple misuse of the word shallow, what is then displayed is great example of psychological projection.
Tell me you didn't tear up when the baby Levis showed up.🥲
it reminds me of GROOOOOT lol
