In Larrivee web site I read that " like all Larrivee, the 40 series are made in America" . Could you please clarify why you said some of them were made in Asia for a couple of years? I am interested to a 40 series guitar, now I'll pay attention to where it was build. Thanks
Jace misspoke. Larrivees are made in Southern California. This model used to only be available in Asia, not "built in Asia". Sorry for the confusion...

Larivee was originally a Canada-built guitar. I believe they are all made in Oxnard, CA now. Guitars out of both places are exceptional.
