Really? I'm not sure :D Sadly I shifted 1st gear just slightly below 100km/h per Gopro GPS. So 0-100 could have been a little bit faster regarding to Gopro GPS. But the rev limiter is very close at 100km/h in 1st gear. And that would cost a lot.
@@mototop_ If you did hold first a second longer you would’ve sacrificed the next speed incriminate, meaning if you were on a track it could’ve cost a position or 3 by the time you reached turn one. It’s not alway about the zero to 100 kph in my book. That’s one of the reasons why I think it’s your best. More so with the throttle and clutch control as that combined with the weight is difficult. In the same way an old light weight 2 stroke (especially on a fast track like Phillip Island is harder to launch). Plus the first 3 rows at PI are uphill by just over 5 degrees. You don’t see it as much today however if you started on row 4 and got an awesome launch you could be in front come turn one. 👍😎🇦🇺

After my beloved K1200LT I got a K1600GT and OMG what a ride it was. It’s a wolf disguised as an overlarge sheep. So many sportsbikes tried to outrun me. Some of the best could, but most couldn’t. And I always rode ‘full gear’ with two panniers and the topcase fully loaded with stuff for work. The sound was incredible. Could ride it all day long without getting my butt hurt at all. Said goodbye to it because of the weight. But miss it now and again……

It takes exactly 105 frames to see initial 0.1G accelaration to 100 km/h on GoPro's overlay; so 30 frames/sec => 0-100 km/h : 3.5 Seconds according to my calculation😆
Oh nice you're doing that work :) I start calculating just 1 frame before 1km/h. You're right that 0,1g could also be the start, but if I have a closer look to the video frames I would say it's not really moving forward, it's more moving upwards (rebound of suspension).

that's the topspeed. I guess there is no electronically restriction. The only restriction is the air resistance. The bike is much bigger than a superbike.

I was surprised. I've done 100,000ks on my K16. It tops out at 272 on the GPS, 290 indicated. Maybe this newer model emissions control is flattening it.

Penser à prendre le bidon d’huile avec vous, j’ai eu 20 bécane dans ma vie pour ne pas les citer les trois marques japonaises notamment à la dernière Goldwing 2021 avant d’avoir fait la connerie d’acheter cette grosse merde. Je vous explique j’ai effectué le rodage jusqu’à 1700 km en respectant les plages tout ça, je fais réaliser la première vidange, puis par la suite la moto m’indique aux environs de 4500 km de mémoire manque d’huile. Voilà voilà je me rends chez mon Concessionnaire ils me font là. Nous sans autre explication par la suite au bout d’un an, la moto me fait de la condensation dans le phare avant ça fait un mois que j’attends des nouvelles de mon Concessionnaire Bmw Boe plus réactif pour vendre la moto pseudo Moto
topspeed is mainly about power output and aerodynamics. The K1600 has a lot of displacement, but less power than an actual 1000cc superbike and it has more aerodynamic drag.

Can swap you exhaust with full system and without db killer i think k1600 be most best sound with CBX 1000

weight doesn't have any influence on topspeed (in the flat), only on acceleration.
