Seems like dude got a great deal, the amount of work and parts put in worth more than that.
I was going to say not the Si but for 11K hmmm that's a couple new projects lol
11k for a 90 hatch is absolutely absurd but some kids will spend it
@@connoisseuroftigolbitts Very hard to find a clean one without a list of "little problems". A sorted car is worth 2x an 'almost done' one.
@@connoisseuroftigolbitts completed, it's totally worth it. Especially with the engine and transmission he has in there. I'd say good sale Jon!
Good for you being able to let go. That opens the door to new opportunities.
Good price, congrats to you. Didn’t see this coming tho, one of my fav’s
Hope you got a ton of cash to a well-deserving buyer.
Because you both won in that sale.
I'm sitting on 2 1990 si. One is a shell, everything but motor. One is a Dohc zc swap with a bunch of parts, also genuine mugen d-series headers. Never thought they'd go for quite that much, even tho they're amazing fun!
Being a cvar featured in media helps a lot, so does good og paint. Anything needed done and the price would be half that.
Damn man didn’t think it was gonna happen, but definitely worth it and opens up to more track car parts!
Hey Jon this is sad to see for sure. As a longtime follower I know others came and went but this was always in the background. However, what is most strange is that I too just sold this exact vehicle today after 8 years. Ef si in Tahitian green. You have helped me so much over the years answering questions and showing how-to’s. So thank you. There will always be another car that comes along.I will replace it with something you can count on that! Look forward to your next project🎉🎉🎉
I'm also a longtime viewer, and it seems I'm the only one of us three who is keeping his Tahitian green EF, eh?
The previous owner said to me -- 6 months after the sale -- that he regretted selling it to me. I told him that he's NEVER getting this car back.
Also, it was HIS idea to sell it to me in the first place, and before we signed the papers, I asked him THREE TIMES: "Are you SURE you wanna do this?? You're gonna regret it."
Dam not the si 😢 I remember when u installed a bunch of skunk 2 parts on it that's sometime after I started watching your channel I think
MY Buddy just sent me a pic of the car on the trailer in El Paso at the truck stop.
Hard to let a car like that go! But, for 11k, I probably would too😅
I’m gonna miss seeing this car on the channel, it was so clean!
11k wow my. 14’ accord with 30k miles was only 12k. Prices are crazy!!
So clean and mint bro. 👌🏽 I love that green color.
If I’ll buy a 11k civic like this I won’t mind if it’s from you. Hopefully next owner will enjoy that SI very very clean❤
Gonna miss it dude.
I'm sad my first car was this spec. What's next?
Congrats on the sale John, I'd say it's about time for another "watch me wash all of my cars" episode, be nice to see what the fleet is currently looking like. Any plans for additions with the money from the Si?
Nothing specific, just hang onto it and use it for random things here and there.
NO SIR IM HORDING ALL HONDA GOODIES N NEVER GONNA GET RID OF MY GIRLS......
11k 😮Hell yeah! 👍 🎉
11k?! Sheesh
Garage Built Hondas and Subs: *Scarface phone call GIF*
I need to repaint my tgp crx
Money well spent
I bought a k swapped eg hatch the same time my dad bought a new civic si in 2013. They’re worth about the same amount of money now
I said at least $10K before the video finished.
Sad face
Ima call ur dad for selling a cool car terrible should of gaved it to me 😂
Unless you always have one, you'll always come to regret it. No other car gives that joyful fun that 90's Hondas give!
I own the twin of this car -- and Jon has seen it -- and I have lost count of how many times I have been in a parking lot, and some rando will come up and say 3 things:
1) "I love your car!!"
2) "I used to have one!"
3) "I regret getting rid of it!"
