That's what he was doing until 50 started calling him g×y for sing on records. Then 50 started singing on records.
You don’t know what you’re talking about. His first album was a street album and sold 2 million. But his singles wasn’t that big and people compared him to dmx and pac so did R&B and sold way more. He 5th album dropped during the 50 cent beef was actually recorded as a mixtape with 50 cent disses but Def Jam executives released it as a studio album because their sales were down that year. It flopped and he basically lost his spot that year 2003.
