beast brother . i can only make like 1k a week now. its so hard to hit 300$ + . but ive seen guys make like 450$ a Day+ in SF.
Came for the cat, stayed for the cat! 😊😊
7:55 that taco shop on the opposite corner has fantastic food.
I'm writing that down in my phone! 🙏
Nice video, couple of tips from an ex full timer, before the car starts moving, always confirm the location you're going to, I've had numerous times where the pax THOUGHT they put something else in, but the app had a difference address, it takes 5 seconds and saves potential headache. Also don't call until absolutely necessary, lots of pax dislike being called.
Love to see your subs going up! Good job Blake
Thanks Chris! 🙏
Great job, I love the cat.
Idk how you can do it man, Uber/Lift just seems so sketchy to me. I've always just stuck with DoorDash/UberEats Side note... Alabama has alot of places with Gate Codes, I had never experiences this before coming from Portland OR. Gate Codes are THE WORST.
Amazing video as always bro 🤘
Thank you so much 😀
Was just in Vegas for the 4th and was talking to the Uber drivers as much as I could being that I might make the move from Cali to Vegas and making to move from trucking to Uber. One told me he made 7-8k a month there and the next Uber guy called him lazy 😆 he reached into the glove compartment and showed me his 1099 134k last year 😳
7-8k a month in vegas still good tho a housing not that expensive plus he get to spend time with the family
It seems like the Uber market is super saturated in Vegas. I was getting rides in escalades and large black SUVs even in the lowest uber tier that would cost me a fortune here in DC where I live.
I used to drive for them in Houston. I found having one phone to be a major pain, so I got a second phone, wifi only, and connected it to the hotspot on the first phone. Much easier to deal with rides coming in at the same time.
Gate codes should be mandatory LOL upon ordering HAHA. Decent night for ya, good stuff and at least you didn't have tell all your riders the same story they always seem to ask about!
Yeah, I like that idea. I wasn’t feeling very social that night so I’m not mad have the passengers were on their phones.
Another good video.
What is your cat's name? Thanks for the video.
Thanks you watching! His name is Mr. Kitty.
Most important piece of information! Thank you!! 😋😌🐱
You need to keep a code book with you sometimes you will get and easier to get in next time at the gate.Fed X and UPS have gate code when you hear it write it down put code in gates open
That's a good idea!
Good stuff 🎰 i live in Vegas as well so it’s good to see what the market is like here
Thanks for watching!
Loving the videos brother, what type of cameras do you use??
Thank you 🙏 I’m just using the GoPro 10 black, it’s great point and shoot and it’s discrete.
Let’s get it
Nice that you ended up at the M. I also drive Lyft & Uber and live in your part of Henderson. My driving experience has been much like yours. Been here one year, also from CA. I’m in a white Acura RDX if you see me around.
I felt pretty lucky to get that ride. That's cool Steve hopefully we run into each other one of these days!
I think you’re in a Prius, right? What color? What kind of dash cam are you using?
@@thehousehunter123 Correct, I'm driving a Silver Prius. I've been using the Vantrue E3 dash cam. It's been doing well so far, it's easy to install and remove.
@@BlakeDrives Do you use another camera as well or do you grab the dash cam when you are filming outside of the car?
I am surprised that you are not using an app like Mystro!
Never heard of it but I’m definitely looking it up! 🙏
Whats camera are u using
Love these vids. I watch UA-cam in my car all the time and for some reason the music you have with the travel between stops is way louder than your voice part. I find that I keep messing w the volume. Maybe it's me.
Thanks for watching! Yeah I’ve gotta try and figure out how to balance the music and my voice. I appreciate the feedback!
@@BlakeDrives I am gearing up to head out to try some rides. I only do eats as of now. Should be ready by friday night 🙏
@@midlifemotorcycle Good luck today! Go get that money 💴!
Hey brought back the dashcam! Great vid man! Say Spruce Goose 5 times as fast as you can! Hahaha!
Nice dude! Let me know when you start your UA-cam channel, I’ll give you a shoutout! Spruce Groose ahh 😩
@@BlakeDrives I meant you brought back the dashcam. It's a great addition to the vids.
@@karlkluthe1476 Oh yeah, 😂. I’m going back out today, hopefully we get some good interactions. 👍
@@BlakeDrives Say Spruce Goose Howard Hughes 8 times while wearing tissue boxes for shoes. It will bring you good fortune.
Was using your vid’s to help apartment shop lol I’ll be moving out there in a few months hopefully… any suggestions? My online shopping keeps putting me at Jade, behind ceasers and strip area…. Any input? Thanks
Oh cool! I probably looked at a dozen places before I found mine. I guess it depends how close to the strip you want to be. Personally I like living away from the strip. I like Henderson, Spring Valley, Enterprise and Summerlin. Keep hunting for a good deal and visit their websites they may offer a special move-in price for the first 6-12 months. 👍
Wow you drive alot of miles
Another great video!! What is your standard to accept a ride $11 & above?
I usually wait about 5 minutes or so. $11 and above are pretty solid rides
Hey Blake how do you handle riders that ask to make a stop along they way but they haven’t added it to the app?
Or they say they'll Tipp you but somehow they always forget. 🤣
If it's on the way and they're cool I usually don't mind.
With Lyft you can decline the ride with a bonus and then log off and log back on and will keep the bonus.
That’s good to know, I didn’t know that. Thank you!
Always use Google... I NEVER USE APP NAVI
I might give that a try! 👍
what brand dash cam you use for front and inside of rider ?
I’m using the Vantrue E3 I bought it on Amazon back in March. I’d recommend it. 👍
maybe you could show your lyft/uber profile with lifetime rides and rating at the end of each video as a progress update
Yeah I could do that 👍
hey blake, i see you accept basically all rides that gets you over $15 no matter the distance. Isn't it more profitable to drive on the strip/airport short rides for the same amount during peak hours? I drive 100 miles per shift and make $200+ in 6 hours picking rides on the strip during surge times. I dunno if it is worth doing those long rides for such a small amount? I dunno maybe im doin something wrong
What do you prefer day or night driving on uber or lyft .which do you make more money? Do you get false reports have you gotten car smells or dirty car so passenger try to get free rides cause they too cheap. Ladies go on phone when by themselves to feel safe and comfortable in a strangers car not all but some
I like driving in the afternoon and evening. I never tired a morning shift I should probably try that one of these days. So far I’ve never had a false report knock on wood. 🪵
you use gopro for record videos
Yeah I’m currently using the GoPro 10 black.
In my vehicle I play the music I want my car my rules if they don’t like it cancel the ride get out
You should never tell them their name, l always ask them to tell me their name. Confusions happen.
I was just watching videos on that... thanks for reminding me!
