*Solid, **Fastly.Cool** and gets the job done. For rooms where window-mounted air conditioning is not an option, this works very well. Easy set up, rapid cooling, and great design.*

I really appreciate your video. We are retired & had our old stat replaced last winter with this Pro 8000. We used a company we had used for years, but it took 3 techs to program this unit to work, & at change over to cooling this year schedule was all wrong. Your video saved me a service call. I live on east coast & if you were here I would change to your company. Video was done very well & as an older person, it was extremely helpful.
    Thanks again
    Michael

Thank you for this great video. I have a Bryant natural gas furnace and a Bryant heat pump outside. I have been using a Honeywell 9580 Wifi thermostat successfully for the past 4 years but realize now that it will not allow me to use the Emergency mode. I need the EM mode so that I will be able to disable the heat pump in order to run the furnace with my 8,000 watt generator. It's not big enough to run the heat pump. This way we can have heat in the winter when there is one of our area's 5-7 day power outages. The 9580 can't do this without a fossil fuel kit which apparently I do not have. I ordered this Vision Pro 8000 because it has the S1 connectors for an outdoor temp sensor, which I also ordered. My goal is to set these up and program it to allow for the Emergency mode when I absolutely need it and not have both system running at the same time for obvious reasons. I am trying to find a video or some more setup instructions for the Initial setup, not so much for the end user's operational stuff, although your info will help me at that time. Can you refer to the setup info I may need? I have been searching a great deal but can't find anything that seems to cover this.

How would I set it up to use on cool for the summer?? Would I put it on auto and have the heat at 62 and cool at 73? We have it on cool right now, not auto and it’s at 70 but the thermostat is showing 74 and sometimes 75 and we don’t see it coming down to 70. Is there a reason for that?? Please help.

I just got this thermostat when we got our new AC unit put in. I currently have the indoor temp setting set on 2. What exactly does that do? The reason I did that is because the furnace kept kicking on and off constantly. Thanks.

I installed this same stat and it seems to work well. One thing that differs from what I read is that with a heat pump and gas furnace as aux heat, I thought that if I was raising the heat temp from 65 to 70 the aux heat would automatically kick on because of the large (5 degree) difference, but it does not. It is a 45 degree day outside, and I know that the heat pump lockout is 40 with the way it is set, but I thought that aux heat would always kick in if there was a demand for heat with spread of 3 degrees or more. Does anyone know more about this? My Aux heat does work if it's sub zero weather and I can also switch to Emergency heat exclusively if I choose. It just won't go to Aux heat with that 3+ degree call for heat.

Not quite fully on subject with this video, but is there a way to go directly to the ISU number you want in the Installer Options? I want to make changes to 504 without making selections in everything before it.
