Alundra/Medusa wanted to drop the belt multiple times. She wanted to go rogue and drop it to Luna Vachon, but Luna was afraid she’d get fired. Medusa believed no one would even notice, as that’s how little they cared about the women’s division. Honestly, she’s probably not wrong. They released her while she was still champion, and didn’t even bother to get the belt back.
They did try to get the belt back, but she just didn't care. Why should she? She went to WCW a week or two later and tossed it in the trash on air. That was her basically telling Vince "you want the title back, come get it"
He was pissed at Cena's crap selling; not having to job....... They offered him the belt several times in that period and he turned it down every time.
I will say that Neville/Pac losing to Enzo was a questionable call but then to have a few nights later lose clean is crossing the line for me. I would have quit too.

I have one to add to the list, Buff Bagwell and the Total Package vs Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo from World Championship Wrestling's final Pay Per View, Greed. The match was short, the announcers couldn't believe the performance by Bagwell and Package and the two laid in the ring after the match was over like their was seriously hurt. Shameful performace by those two when they knew it was O'Haire and Palumbo's time.
The top 3 are justified. Pretty sure Tori was told "you even bruise Sable and you're fired" before walking out, like they did with Luna. Shawn had every right to be pissed at Hogan. And Madusa was told they're cutting the women's division right before the match. How is Aries not on here?
I still think Shawn was unprofessional. If he had a problem losing to Hogan they should have sorted that out before the match, or simply called the whole thing off. Going out there and behaving like that was childish and made a mockery of the entire business.
Just because its in the script doesn't mean they have to be onboard with it. Losing a match can ruin a wrestlers storyline and damage their career. For example, see the Nexus. If they had won that Survivor Series match it would have cemented them as credible stars. Cena winning the match buried that entire stable, and that was a last minute change made by Cena himself.
I just couldn't take lex Luger seriously..I never rated him in WCW or the WWF....there was just nothing to the guy ...in my opinion yes he was in phenomenal shape but he had all the charisma of a rocking horse and couldn't wrestle

It's only in-character for him to look upset when he loses, and I don't agree that he looked mad before his matches with Yokozuna or Bob Backlund where he lost the WWF championship (probably the biggest losses of his career at that time). Fans often confuse expressions of focus and concentration on a big match with being "unhappy".
According to Hogan, he initially agreed to do a trio of matches, but he found he was in too much pain and could only work one. Considering he was the babyface and Shawn was the heel, it made sense for the storyline for Hogan to go over. Whether this is true or not is debatable, but I still think Shawn acted in an unprofessional manner.
HBK's antics were 100% justified. Hogan was a coward and chumped himself, so why would HBK give him a 5 star match? Agreeing to lose in a TRILOGY of matches only to have Hogan chump himself and make it a one-off match was just lame as Hell. I remember it was one of the most ridiculous matches I have ever watched (except for 100% of the women's matches ever), and I couldn't help but laugh. HBK was 100% warranted to ham it up the way he did. The match isn't remembered for Hogan's win, but for the hamming of HBK so though he may have lost the match, he won the accolades every day after, so there's that.
I don't know, maybe because he is supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL wrestler and his job is to make it look real. Going out there and overselling ruined the match that Hogan and Shawn's fans had paid to see. There is no excuse for his childish behaviour. If he didn't want to do the job for Hogan, then he should have settled those issues with him backstage beforehand.

HBK's antics were 100% justified. Hogan was a coward and chumped himself, so why would HBK give him a 5 star match? Agreeing to lose in a TRILOGY of matches only to have Hogan chump himself and make it a one-off match was just lame as Hell. I remember it was one of the most ridiculous matches I have ever watched (except for 100% of the women's matches ever), and I couldn't help but laugh. HBK was 100% warranted to ham it up the way he did. The match isn't remembered for Hogan's win, but for the hamming of HBK so though he may have lost the match, he won the accolades every day after, so there's that.
I don't know, maybe because he is supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL wrestler and his job is to make it look real. Going out there and overselling ruined the match that Hogan and Shawn's fans had paid to see. There is no excuse for his childish behaviour. If he didn't want to do the job for Hogan, then he should have settled those issues with him backstage beforehand.

Fan reactions to Cena have always been very mixed. He was definitely not universally adored. Just listen to all the cheers/boos and duelling "Let's Go Cena"/"Cena Sucks!" chants there were every single time he wrestled from 2006-2016. Half of the fanbase hated him.
