- The chief guest of this year's Mahashivratri, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of India, embarked on a tour of the Isha Yoga Center with Sadhguru himself as his driver. Going from Naga Shrine, where they offered Aarti and recieved a sacred thread, Abhaya Sutra, towards Nandi, where they offered lotus flowers, and finally to Dhyanalinga, where the Vice President and other dignitaries participated in the Pancha Bhuta Kriya.
Then, they turned towards Adiyogi, where the Vice President offered thai mann (mother soil) and water to a Mahilam plant, an expression of commitment to revitalize and save the world's dying soil, and Kailash Teerth to the Yogeshwara Linga before arriving to the Mahashivratri stage."
