Nobody does twists like AoS. I think Eric from Blind Wave could be right saying that this reveal was the plan for the fear dimension all along. So that no one would see that coming - more so than doing some throwbacks. The clues were fucking all there. Aggressive behavior from Fitz on part with being twitchy, the Doctor telling Daisy that she was looking at the real Fitz, plus, why would a fear dimension apparition want to close the portal with Daisy's powers? But all of them masterfully went right over everyone's head. Goddamn it, I love this show.
"Nobody does twists like AoS" Yep. Again, to refer to Eric on BlindWave, their twists almost always have that feel of "surprising inevitability" - it's out of nowhere and yet feels totally natural and believable. One of, if not the, best shows on television right now and the sad thing is, this may well be its last season because for some reason it hasn't caught on with a larger audience.
I do keep up with it as the show is my favorite comic book show. I know he is highly praised by those who watch. What I meant was that I wish more people would watch and recognize the great stories and performances.
If anyone hasn't seen the sadly short-lived BBC series "The Fades" from a few years back it's worth checking out for a great early performance from Iain De Caestecker (along with Daniel "Get Out" Kaluuya as his best friend and a pre-GoT Natalie Dormer).
This is definitely in my top 5 favorite episodes of AOS. When they first introduced the whole fear dimension thing I was kind of skeptical about it. I figured they’d just use it as a way to bring back people for the 100th and then that would be it. But I think the whole point of it was to reveal that framework Fitz was actually in Fitz’s head. This is just masterful storytelling. And Jemma and Fitz are both good people, but they’re both SHIELD agents and scientists, too. They kind of HAVE to look at situations and make hard choices that might hurt the people around them because if they don’t more people, ALL of the people, could be in danger. Or is them starting to make these decisions what ends up CAUSING the future they saw?! THIS F*CKING SHOW!!!!!!! I don’t understand how it keeps getting even better and how they keep coming up with so many twists out of nowhere?! Consistently the BEST show on TV, hands down.
Season One of Agents of SHIELD Before Episode 17: It's a decent but fun show, except for a few standouts, it's fine. Season One of Agents of SHIELD After Episode 17: This show is getting better Season Two and Three of Agents of SHIELD: This show is fantastic. I love it. Season Four and Five of Agents of SHIELD: This is one of my most favorite shows of all time.
Your reactions to Evil!Fitz were magic. First, you recognized him from his hair (or the Framework Hydra theme) & you were so jazzed about his suit, and then the look on your face at the reveal from 8:10-8:36 was just... you were awestruck, and it was beautiful to see. Most of the time, it's clear that you're working things out and thinking, but for that little gap you seemed to just be in shock.
The writers did try to warn us about this reveal of The Doctor in 5x05 :). Fitz "I told you about my experience in the Framework." Lt. Evans "Yes. It seems very traumatic." Fitz "And I did suffer previous brain trauma, which may have been exacerbated. I may have suffered from prodromal schizophrenia. So it's possible I did something to them or, uh, I helped them escape, or something worse - and blocked the memory"
I agree that Daisy Fitz moment in season two is one of my favorite moments of the show as well. And ironically it was Daisy at the end of last season that kept Fitz from leaving the team. So when she said: "I will never forgive you." I hope she was only overwhelmed by the situation and will remeber all those things later on. I trust the writers and don't expect Arrow level bs drama. SHIELD agents are professionals after all and can see the big picture.
“Drink the odium... in a wave of savage glory... and of course hail hydra...” I’m sorry, but I’m hearing Oenameaus. Welcome to the show! Love that actor. And Ian was again effing great...
I related so much with your reaction at 8:10 - 8:30, that plot twist was just mind blowing. Also, You almost cried at the Jemma/Deke interaction Jimmy! :O *I couldn't help it and I did cry, several times btw!* I think Jemma is pregnant, at the beginning of the Ep we have a hint that she is eating for 2 and at the end she is throwing up. And I agree, Iain deserves every award for the vast display of his acting abilities, he's one of the best young actors out there! And Fitz arch is the best of the Series. I will be so sad if the Series is not renew.
If you want to see some more amazing Iaian DeCaestecker, check out the BBC series "The Fades". It co-stars Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi in "Black Panther") with a performance that is right up there with Iains. It's only seven episodes but it's incredible.
Episode 6 was the episode where lots of people were killed. I was frightened then what the mid season and episode 100 would hold. And now that this episode came, I realized we have 8 more episodes of pain! We haven't even seen coulson die yet! Side note: I was hoping to see an episode where everyone imagined coulson leading them and revealing that he died at the end, but them using that "Fight Club" twist for this episode was nuts
Goodbye random Shield agent number 199999. Yeah, there is great friendship between Fitz and Daisy, think how many things did their friendship survived, in Daisy's double agenda, in s2 Fitz keeping her secret, in s3 mind controlled Daisy, in s4 Framework Fitz and now in s5 Fitz's double personality. Fitz's state reminds me of Nikki from Heroes or Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde so I'm even more hype to see what will happen next. That Superior's line "good origin story, bro"- loved it and it's nice callback to 4x14, he has great chemistry with Coulson (frenemies LMAO). I feel so sorry for Daisy, damn... but I like to see her powers again, it's been a long time.
havok6280 Hale hydra hahah I’m not above laughing at that. And yea she could be pregnant but idk if I like that timing. I’d rather them say it at the end of the season than have her show signs she’s pregnant as soon as she meets her grandson.. I’d rather it be shock for now
She's definitely pregnant. There's a quick shot of her gagging as Fitz is operating on Daisy. If she wasn't pregnant she would not have that kind of reaction.
Her being pregnant wasn't something I was thinking about. I just assume she was just being overwhelmed of the situation. Seeing what Fitz has done and the fact that Deke is her Grandson. It was just too much.
The reason why not more people watch it is because 1. Its a Superhero show which only caters to a select audience. And 2. Its a sci-fi shows which also caters to a select audience. Especially sci-fi shows have a hard time attracting a large audience and growing because science fiction has been slowly dying out on the small screen since the year 2000. So no matter how good SHIELD gets it won't get the increase in audience it deserves. Its also the reason why the actor playing Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) has never won a significant award for his role. Because he plays in a Superhero sci-fi which are rarely nominated if not at all for Emmy's and such.
If you think this episode was heart wrenching & dark, just wait until Fitzsimmons figure out that if they save the world & break the loop they'll erase this version of their grandson out of existence.
Now was the fear dimension just a diversion so they could pull this episode twist? Sure it made for some great fan service in the 100th episode but many (most?) shows would have milked that plot for the rest of the season, with fear of the week shenanigans. Not AoS. Plus I thought you were going to crack Jimmy, they nearly got you this week. Will you stay strong through to the end of the season?
If you think about it, “Framework Fitz” is almost like having inhuman powers...it all depends on whether it is used for good or evil. Remember what Hunter said to him: “ Every light needs a shadow. You just have to learn how to control it...use it when you need it.”
So I just started watching Agents of Shield because I have heard it gets really good, or even that it's the best Marvel show. At what point does it start to get really good because I am having some trouble getting through the first few episodes? Not trying to shit talk, I am genuinely excited for the good parts of the show.
Drew Q)! Well season 1 is kinda meh for most of it... I still enjoyed it though...it’s important to watch so you can understand the character development... season 2 is pretty dang good with the stuff going on after Winter Soldier... most of it o loved, there were a few I didn’t care for but hey, still a good show... Seaosn 3 was epic all around imo.... season 4 was a different dimension of epic, and season 5 is a fantastic season so far.... this is just my opinion so others might disagree
I think what happens when some people watch the first season it kind of feels like a quaint "superhero" lite ,safe, fun. (I still believe there's really good work happening, but i could understand the argument ) . This show from the beginning ask its audience to trust what they are doing. This will make SINCE. This will pay off. EP 13 s1 TRACKS is the beginning of the "uptick". alot of answers start coming to the surface.
Jimmy Macram Have you ever went back and watched this first 10 episodes? Cause if not, I think it would be cool to see how you react to them now. Maybe you could record and post them sometime?
JMac, i've been telling people to follow the MCU timeline with Shield and Agent Carter included for the challenge. I told a few reactors to just watch the first three... They were like "all this time I thought Colson was dead and was thought people forgot Loki killed him; I saw episode one and not fifteen minutes in he said what happened". Too large of the community of 'expert' reactors, didn't know. i'm so surprised you didn't get it when Daisy said 'Who are you talking to?". The previous episode when he beheaded those Kree... I was like yeah, he's in there. That writing tho'. Question: If Gemma has morning sickness, wouldn't it be a serious paradox for Big Deke to be there? re: End, Hydra... maybe infiltrating Hydra and the military/imitation. BTW, remember Hale said she answered to higher than Hydra... then the odium, symbols... I think they're throwing us off... it's Kree/Skrull related either way. I'm hoping for Secret Invasion.
I just realized something. If Fitz and Doctor Fitz have become "fused" in a sense, does that mean Fitz now has the memories and knowledge of a real medical doctor (like Jemma)? He certainly held that scalpel like he knew what he was doing!
Poor Finian this has already been confirmed before when Fitz showed his marksmanship when he and hunter were together. He has both memories and skills of the doctor

CozMadical Games ik what you mean but what I’m saying is that everyone else’s worst fear was a completely separate entity. If you wanted to keep his characters morals in tact you could easily say that the fear dimension was the reason he started seeing the doctor instead of just hearing him.
FrakkinToaster Luvva i get that but it wouldn’t surprise me if they say that it had something to do with it. He just happened to just start seeing him? No one else has a fear that is essentially themselves and it would be an easy way to get fitz back to moral place in everyone’s eyes. Weren’t you the one from before who thought daisy really destroyed the earth? If so it makes you a little harder to take seriously just because they wouldn’t tease that in the beginning and have it be true and she’s not that powerful. Just don’t be surprised when they give an actual reason for fitz seeing the doctor whether or not they say fear dimension is yet to be seen but I guarantee they give him an excuse
Wade Wilson plus you say “give him an actual reason to see himself.” Wtf. Did he not see Jemma when she wasn’t there in season 2? HE IS A DAMAGED PERSON.
I must be the ONLY person who was not surprised by the Fitz reveal. Ever since Fight Club they've ripped that story off several times in TV shows so I half expect it in situations like this. It ruins the story for me but I just wasn't surprised at all.
Nobody does twists like AoS. I think Eric from Blind Wave could be right saying that this reveal was the plan for the fear dimension all along. So that no one would see that coming - more so than doing some throwbacks.

When it's all said and done, I hope that it will be remembered as a Cult Classic.
"he should win all the awards" truer words have never been spoken!
This is the only show where I hear people scream, "WHAT IS HAPPENING?! I LOVE IT!!"
Yours and Blindwaves reaction are the only ones I wanted for this episode.
Newb The Novice Gamer dude ur so right, also failwhale and Liam Duke have great reactions too! This episode just killed it for me
Francis Yu nice I don't know either of those. I'm gonna check them out
Francis Yu check out Davis wildes hes pretty sharp too.
Yea failwhale is a great reactor totally recommend 👌🏼
Real talk reactions are also awesome
One of my all time favorite episodes! Iain DeCaestecker is such an incredible actor. Great reaction!!
I do keep up with it as the show is my favorite comic book show. I know he is highly praised by those who watch. What I meant was that I wish more people would watch and recognize the great stories and performances.

this show is amazing. They are kings of plot twist!!!!
When daisy said that I cried even harder :( I love her and fitz's friendship so much

@@TheCell111 same I love season one

i'm surprised how many people remember that moment
yeah and in episode 100 they also hint us about it, when Daisy said to him "there are no acceptable losses, this isn't hydra Leopold"
Fuck..
Azael Santacruz also when Fitz asks Enoch about why he had to have a broach on his jacket instead of just rhinestones
“Oh shit”
Yup... that was my rxn as well 😂😂😂
This stuff was just too good
Jimmy's videos are the kind you upvote before even starting to watch.
Oh, AoS. You never cease to amaze me.
When you and Fitz give Jemma the same expression at the same time after she says "then you're right." LMAO
The Framework was too much for Fitz's Hypoxia affected Brain. Even dead ,Grant Ward's work is still a menace to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Thanks, Ward.
Effing Ward!!!!
Char Turner it was supposed to float

I wish people did Spartacus reactions

In a time with no real consequences on shows like Flash and Arrow it's nice to have AoS where things do matter.
i like what you said about the timing of fitz realising what he is doing
I bet you thought nothing would ever get crazier than ep 4x15 “Self Control” - the end of the LMD arc. But this episode stunned the hell out of me.
If you want to see some more amazing Iaian DeCaestecker, check out the BBC series "The Fades". It co-stars Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi in "Black Panther") with a performance that is right up there with Iains. It's only seven episodes but it's incredible.

There was a hale storm that day and a friend and I were making "hale" puns...then they hit me with "Hale Hydra" lmao
Goodbye random Shield agent number 199999. I've been waiting for your reaction from the moment I watched the episode.
I assume Jemma threw up because she's pregnant.
Also Hale... Hydra?
havok6280 Hale hydra hahah I’m not above laughing at that. And yea she could be pregnant but idk if I like that timing. I’d rather them say it at the end of the season than have her show signs she’s pregnant as soon as she meets her grandson.. I’d rather it be shock for now
Her throwing up may be due to pregnancy or the overall stress of what she has been through with Fitz.
She's definitely pregnant. There's a quick shot of her gagging as Fitz is operating on Daisy. If she wasn't pregnant she would not have that kind of reaction.
Nick Salazar eh I’d be inclined to agree if it wasn’t against her will without pain meds.
Her being pregnant wasn't something I was thinking about. I just assume she was just being overwhelmed of the situation. Seeing what Fitz has done and the fact that Deke is her Grandson. It was just too much.

Bill Watson I think we will have a Daisy Johnson versus Destroyer Of Worlds Daisy fear showdown before the end of the season.
Congrats on 18K b
Love your reactions by the way keep it up bro👍

Awesome reaction haha that was pretty much my face, too
Ruby, Von Strucker Jr., Kreel and The Superior. A better team than the Suicide Squad.
Leo is a savage lol
That was a good twist.

WHY IS IT ALWAYS HYDRA
honestly i think this show suffered from a slow start. the first few episodes are very cookie cutter spy show because they had to be; the main cast had 7 people and we needed to get to know them. i love season 1. it's still my second favorite season (behind season 4). but i understand that people lost interest because the first 3, 4 episodes aren't special. but it gets cranked the fuck up real fast. i just wish people would've given it more of a chance because it's definitely the best comic book show around. one of the best shows period.
I’m not blaming fitz for this one. He said he just started seeing him and for everyone else they have a worse fear that wasn’t themselves. Fitz wasn’t a different person in the framework he was just tricked
Wade Wilson he was a very different person in the framework...that’s why he’s so damaged by it.
CozMadical Games ik what you mean but what I’m saying is that everyone else’s worst fear was a completely separate entity. If you wanted to keep his characters morals in tact you could easily say that the fear dimension was the reason he started seeing the doctor instead of just hearing him.
Wade Wilson It wasn't the fear dimension. The fear dimension actually materializes these fears. This was just in Fitz' head.
