Rachel Sharansky Danziger, no one could have held the space for such profound intensity, with as much sensitivity as you did. Thank you for conducting this moving interview with courage and respect. How to 'wave and smile' in the presence of such loving, beautiful and yet suffering women, is beyond my capacity tonight. I am moved to tears by the light of their souls despite the pain they are obviously feeling. Bless all three of you Rachels for having such fortitude in your contribution to tikkun olam. You are all truly inspirational.

As a torah teacher myself, it was so very moving (yet painful!) for me to hear Rachel Goldberg Polin speak about how Tzvi Wolf, Rachel Goldberg's father, played such a significant role in her life as a teacher, and how Rav Avi was excited about meeting his talmid Hersh. The human web we live in is shot through with so much learning and love of learning. It wasnt the saddest part of the interview (though the video Rav Avi took of his students years ago, three of whom were killed in this war, almost made me lose my composure as the interviewer), but I think it was what left the most immediate impact on me ---- I feel inspired to be more aware of the immense responsibility and privilege I take upon myself when I teach, and do my best to teach in a way that would be worthy of the ligt Avi and Hersh brought to the world.

This was a very moving, genuine, and very interesting interview, but was disappointed that the interviewer never once mentioned the hope, the prayer for Mashia Which would not only alleviate all the wars, etc., but we would see the reunification of Hirsch with his family and Avi with his family
