I used to go to the Rock And Shock convention at the DCU Center in Worcester. I went every year from 2005 until the last one in 2019. Rock And Shock, in my opinion, was tu3 best of the different shows I went to. I went to Super Mega Fest in Framingham, Walker Stalker Con Boston, which was a specialized Walking Dead Convention that had actors from the show as well as Breaking Bad and Others. My best friend was rich and bought platinum passes with which we got free stuff like t shirts, messenger bags.. we also got to go to the front of the autograph and photo of lines as well as 5 free autographs and 4 free photo ops for free. And we ate lunch in the presidential suite with the celebrities. We weren't supposed to bother the celebrities and one of the organizers got mad because I was talking Baseball with Steven Yeun, Glen from TWD. The worst show I ever went to was Rhode Island Comic Con. There was nowhere to sit, they oversold tix by 2000 so there was no room to move around. At the time, I was disabled (and still am) but I got to rent a mobility scooter for Walker Stalker and Rock And Shock had plenty of seats. Another good thing about Walker Stalker was my best friend and I stayed at a suite because we were there the whole weekend. So I could ride up t9 my room and drop off the stuff I got. My only complaint about Walker Stalker, Rhode Island Comic Con and Mega Fest was there were no Blu Ray vendors. At Walker Stalker there was an artist who sold prints of Boston sports Mount Rushmore Pics. One had the Pats' Bellichick, Brady, Gronk and Edelman. Another one was a Sox one with Pedro, Papi, Manny and Schilling. At Rock And Shock, Vinegar Syndrome had a table every year and I would get 5 for $100 or 15 for $250. Once I got 20 for $300 and they threw in 3 posters. Their Blu Rays were usually $25 each. I'm still in a nursing home, trying to walk again, but I would like to get back into the Horror Con scene.
