As a gamebook lover, Lone Wolf was my jam, it would be cool to see a few eurogame mechanics folded into the mix. Could probably skill track stats instead of boring D6 rolls. Purists will probably hate the suggestion though, haha.
Sort of looks like the old Talisman game and the also old Search for the Emperor's Treasure game. But also looks like Dungeoneer, with the cards as a map as opposed to an actual map board. How would this compare to Dungeoneer?
Sorcerers Cave was a big initial inspiration, along with Talisman. Elements of those were then brought together with Fighting Fantasy and AFF to create the game you see there!
I feel like it doesn't have the personality of the descriptions in the FF books or something with a dose of silliness like Dungeonquest, at least from the preview.
That's a shame you refused to review Dungeons of the Oak Dell prototype! It's getting only good opinions so far! But well... What can we do? We just relased one-page demo PnP if anyone's interested the link is in our chanell description! Anyway as always dope video! ;) Cheers!
That’s what this game is about. It’s based on the Fighting Fantasy books RPG which is over 40 years old. It’s not meant to be an original take on the genre more nostalgia.
Gives me Dungeon Quest vibes but with heroes and monsters
Blimey, prototypes, someone's got some umph behind him now.
Had to beg
Looking forward to this one. Arion Games is a great company and a big fan of AFF, so perfect fit for me and my kids to while away a Sunday afternoon.
A preview?! WoW 😱 this is new
It’s fighting fantasy…worth selling my soul for
Cheers for the review :)
Hope my pics aren’t one of things you don’t like about it!
Hey I love the artwork - it lends a really cool vibe to the game!
Cheers mucker :)
If I can't instantly lose the game due to no fault of my own (bad dice roll) then this isn't proper FF.
Nice one! Looking forward to the KS too. Between this and the recent FF Adventures campaign it’ll be a proper trip back to my youth! Cheers!
A preview?! Are you selling out?! Just kidding, love the channel.
I had to pay to send the f@&£er back 😂
Looks decent I like the books though so I can cheat and go back to the previous page

Looks pretty cool. Ill have a word with Graham.

Can’t really say as it’s not a finished product. I’ll be doing a review of the final product as soon as it ships. Keep an eye out 👍🏻
Reminds me of sorcerers cave

You should have said "You don't give a Jackson".

Any plans on doing a Dungeon on Blood Island Review?
I would say yes but I still haven’t done the previous 2 books.
So, it's like Karak but for slightly older players? :)
How did you get a copy?????
I asked the designer
I like this channel, you mong.
Bollocks, mate

I made an exception as I’ve been playing FF since I was 8…special privileges
@@BoardGameBollocks understood! ;)
Honestly I'm a bit tired of the whole 'heroes' go into dungeons to kill 'monsters' thing, it's a tired concept and done to death.
