@@jimcrawford5039 Nah its not that long when it leaves Griffith, it attains the length as it progresses along the Griffith Junee line with various pickups.
Australia should have dual line, freight priority, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, in particular and Cairns sooner than later. Nah, our mob loves roads, trucks, and only 35 days national fuel reserves.
The track is in a pretty poor condition: I know the zoom exaggerates things, but there's a lot of bumps and mud-holes that have been poorly patched up.
It's the dual-gauge loop linking back at Broadmeadows to the Seymour line. The passenger train is Vline's only standard gauge train. Melbourne to Albury and return.
Great catches! Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks for looking Dave
Hi 👋 the best thing about your videos is you tell us what each train is 👍🏻 Well done and thanks Stevie 😎🇬🇧
Thanks Stevie. The titles could be a bit clearer but I'll address that in future uploads.
awesome video Schony747 :)
Thanks for looking 😀😀
Great video Schony, love them! Riverina.
Thanks Jim. You'd know the first one from Griffith very well.
nice catch
Thanks 😀😀
Geez, that first train would stretch from Central to McDonaltown(past Redfern)....Talk about lo-o-o-o-o-ong!
I’d love to see it in Griffith, that’s for sure, I live close!

some can be long as 2km
@@youtubeviewer7030 Yeah, well, that's about as far as it is from Maitland Station to High Street(Maitland) Station.
Love it well done
Thanks. One of my hack spots and only 5 minutes from home.
when one of those freight trains arrives at a station, the last freight car is still getting ready to leave the previous station
No chance for the first one to be put in a siding .

Rail is always the poor cousin to roads. Just like Public Transport
That cement train was almost over powered for the length of the train. I know cement is heavy but it's not that heavy.
it drops a bunch off in benella
and also picks the empties up on the return journey

Yep and one of the reasons the Albury line North of Seymour is getting lots of attention at the moment.
The track is undulating up and down quite a lot.
Horn show from Vline Engineer??
Yes. The Vline crew our that way are pretty friendly.
Is this the Seymour line

Ok thanks
4:14 "Loaded" cement? Careful it doesn't go off! Boo-oo-oo-oom!
That could get pretty messy 😀
@@Schony747 LOL Yeah!
@@neilforbes416 yeah that would have concrete evidence LOL
@@youtubeviewer7030 A bit weighty, old chap! LOL
Neil Forbes @5:04 these run every two hours Albury to Melbourne and three hours weekends
