@ThinkComputers, can you always permanently remove the front glass panel and leave the mesh for higher airflow as I’m tossing between this case and the fractal define design r6?
The marketing video for this case on their website shows an airflow demo using some smoke and it looks like it flows well for a case with a glass front panel.
I love the amount of space in the back for cabling, and the outside looks amazing. I'm using the Crystal 280X for small tasks, so it's exciting to see this big brother version.
Thank you for covering this. I am thinking about getting one, because this looks like it would be easy to build in. My current case is hard to work in. Shouldn't be this expensive, though.
I have this case (white) and I love it. I removed the glass in the front for better ventilation and lower temps as reviewed by Gamer Nexus. I also picked up 3 more RGB fans from Corsair and moved the stock rear fan(non-rgb) to the bottom. I think they should make it a little wider so the vertical slots for the GPU is not up against the glass. I mounted my GPU horizontally anyways.
Yep I got the 280x and yeh the air flow isn't great its ok but nothing special, I tempted to buy a second front panel and see about ripping the glass out and see what I can do to put a mesh in its place.
Wish I could get this without the fans and the controller. I mean if I was to spend £250 on a case like this I would expect it to come with white coloured fans if it is a white case. I would have to spend another £85 roughly replacing the black fans with white fans anyway(OCD). Just a gripe I have.
Sick of all these reviewers knocking the air flow of this case. I have this case and the airflow is amazing, never ever have had an issue and run all of my games at maximum settings for HOURS when I game.
Something to mention is that if you use a 360mm radiator on the front you can only have one fan on the top and one on the bottom. You can use a 280mm radiator on the top and you will be able to fit all the fans in their positions. Also the radiator mounting bracket on the front doesn't allow mounting of 140mm fans in the center. If you mount your 280mm to the front it will not be able to mount in the middle.
@@harpoon_bakery162 the 465x case has high airflow due to the front glass panel having an inch gap between the case and fans on the top right and left sides providing excellent airflow.
You can always buy a 5.25" USB drive enclosure if you really need a optical drive. I got one in my current computer. Can't remember the last time I actually used it.
I need an ALL-WHITE case , this looks good, but it's SO OLD, I am NOT buying a case designed in 2019 (probably on paper in 2018 or earlier) oh HELL NO .... SO please let me know what CORSAIR HAS TO OFFER than new , fresh and has great 2021 worthy features and capabilities. A case is the main part of all your work we do on a build , so yea, I WANT SOMETHING NEW PLEASE, give me some suggestions of a PURE WHITE offering, with ARGB, lots of room for a 3090, a 12900K heat variable, a 360mm Corsair Capellix AIO and some HDD's . SO year, i want something all white and really cool. IF YOU THINK THIS IS STILL A VIABLE KIT FOR 2021/2022, then OK , let me know why, please sell me on this unit, I LOVE THE LOOKS of the unit, I really do, but I also want something fresh and exciting. PLEASE HELP EVERYONE, I NEED TO MAKE A DECISION VERY SOON and thanks for your time of course..........
loved the video btw and I have one myself in the mail. for constructive criticism - you were commenting on how you didn't get the drive setup and it wasn't thought out, or how the computer was separated into two chambers (right side and left). the intent of the case was to maximize airflow over the components where heat is a concern to cool more efficiently. The drives and other stuff were put on the other side "out of the way". could be a good comment in order to talk about the product and its actual intentions giving that added layer of detail and knowledge as an authority on tech - or maybe even waxing the manufacturer to maximize that relationship to have better connections? Idk just rambling, but could be something there - great video and im subbed!

Have you heard anything about Corsair offering a mesh front panel? I really like the case just not the front glass.
I haven't heard that, but if they offered a version with that it would be great!

David Millington I was thinking it shouldn’t be too hard to have a mesh panel fabricated but didn’t know if I wanted to deal with that.

Got this case and love it. Just can’t figure out how to remove the rgb node and controller, is it screwed in from behind the mobo? Hope not
But it’s really expensive idk how much is it in USA but here in Switzerland the Price is 240 CHF that’s like 250 dollars just for a case
it's about the same here.
I have a question does this case support NZXT kraken cooler?
Why wouldn't it?

Watch Corsairs review of this case coz it says what radiators it supports and where
"with a tempered glass front you're never gonna have high airflow" *laughs in 465x*

would a 360mm cpu cooler fit on the top
it would not, only supports up to 240mm as far as i am aware

A fan-less version to bring the cost down where you could pick the fans you wanted / needed and weren't defaulted to use Corsair's RGB fans
