This creepypasta was...unnerving. It wasn't overly cliched with gory sprites, no talking to the player, no curses or nightmares(that I know of). I liked it.
It wasn't unnerving at all. It was just as tiresome as other Pokepastas with those cliches, and even without nightmares it had cliches of its own. The game store, corrupt save data, fucking Lavender Town as is standard in any mediocre pasta, all his Pokeymanz died, then his trainer died, and when he became transparent, I immediately thought of Pokemon: Lost Silver. Except that one was fairly decent. Then when he became Mew it lost all credibility for me completely.
Daniel Muniz I found Pokémon Dead Channel pretty good :) It didn't really fall into too many clichés other than one that I remember.
This was a shitpasta.

Yeah they're a little tiresome; there needs to be some story about how the game cartridges became haunted or something, and *that* would have be well-written and the principally scary part, for me to find this anything other than dull: the plain idea of a game where characters die (even because of a *super mysterious spooooky* glitch) is not frightening, because that happens in a lot of games, including some for kids, and some of which I played *as* a kid. I guess it's just crutch-based "nostalgia horror" for kids who grew up playing these games--was it a brief era when dying in kids' games was off limits or something?--and it becomes scary only because the game and the listener were innocent at the time, and it's a twisting a pleasant memory.
Having never played Pokemon as a kid I really couldn't care less if Ash dies and turns into a ghost. Try playing Contra or Ninja Gaiden or something and you'll die plenty, trust me.
Megaman was cute friendly anime style character and that mofo got blown up and impaled on spike traps daily. I think getting impaled on spikes was the core concept of original Prince of Persia ffs.
I suggest the Vermillion City Construction Project. It really doesn't have anything to do with haunting or anything of the sort. It's well written and it takes that tiny detail you would usually ignore and gave it an unnerving background.
Lucy Perez I grew up with these games, my brother, my cousin and I always played them together, but we never played for the story, we always played to see who could beat all the Gym Leaders and beat the League first, so all we did was power level 5 pokemon and just power through the Gym Leaders. For me, these stories cause no "Nostalgia" feeling for me, they just make me feel unbelievably bored.

No joke, this happened while listening to this:
I was listening to this at work scanning papers. It got to the part in the tower in Lavender city with the Marrowak and my program stopped working. It was stuck trying to save the image but the story continued on. the game kept glitching and my computer screen went completely black besides the mouse cursor. I could still hear the story in my headphones as the creepiness continued. I force shut downed the computer before I could finish the story.
When It reboot there was an error message on the start up screen saying there was a problem with the hard drive and it wouldnt let me continue from there. So I called IT and they finally fixed it. They hard no Idea what the problem was.
Im not going to try to finish this story again.

One day last year, my older sister gave me an original gameboy cartridge. I remember seeing this black gameboy cartridge for a blank, pale, emotionless game, and the dullest graphics - the Devil's graphics. I spent 8 years trying to reach it, and another 7 trying to keep it locked in my closet because i realized what was hiding behind that game was purely and simply evil.
