  • It has been reported that even more North Korean soldiers are arriving in Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine. This time, they will be commanded not by Russian generals but by North Korean ones. Putin has given them the objective of liberating the Kursk region from Ukrainian forces. However, the Ukrainians have also made their mark by deploying Abrams tanks in this area.

Before they set off, according to the worldview and education of the North Korean soldiers, they believed they were the most elite and advanced force in the world, with the best equipment. They thought they were liberating humanity and that they represented the most advanced nation. But when they arrived on the battlefield, they realized they had landed on an alien planet.

If you tank blows up and has critical munitions fails every time (like with most Russian tanks), then the crew won't survive and you'll have to retrain an entire crew, who then also has no prior experience. The actual military drones are much better than the ones in terminator. They were so about 15 years ago. Those seen here are literally toys bought in the local store. They are cheap therefore more cost effective (the civilian use ones). Even terminator script for some reason did not imagined drone swarms maneuvering in large teams autonomously. That was possible decades ago.

do you know how expensive that tank is, you realize most US military tech is expensive.
that's 70 tons of metal, all the equipment, the gadgets, the fabricated metals that can withstand impact better etc.
the cost to gain ratio is way out of balance, the USA is dumping Abrahams to see how they can retrofit their current ones to be better against drones and anti-tank weapons because they can't afford to send any more.
Its the greed, military organizations viy for funding over practicality in the USA, they competed against each other who could produce the better ballistic missile (nuclear) in the cold war, the air force, the navy etc. and now its gone out of balance, you get a lot of over-developed gadgets and missiles and "tanks" that are going to go out of commission soon, and they knew it, just they wanted the funding.
Unless you are telling me their senior officers were stupid in not seeing the super expensive ratio of these things, only making it cater for select scenarios against pre-cold-war forces at best maybe early cold war tech, its like they ignored the fact of a modern warfare situation, they knew it, they did not give a f*ck.
Rome didn't fall because of its enemies, it fell because of itself.
Corruption and greed will directly start to show in military projects and operations just like it does in civil projects and operations and corporate projects and operations, it is inevitable, they might be a bit more immune but it touches them.

And all those smarter Russian men who just left the country to avoid being sent into conflict, forever weakening the Russian economy.
Three things: 1. America and the EU knew this was coming. It would have been a better deterrent to dump billions in weapons into Ukraine prior to 2022. 2. Ukraine could have been Poland and solved it's corruption problem sooner and gotten into NATO prior to 2014. 3. He going to snipe with it? "Inconvenient?" No, he just doesn't understand its purpose. It is a fire suppression weapon meant to be hip fired like the NK image, you don't aim down the barrel, you spray an area with bullets, not pick people off. The magazine is on top to facilitate rapid reloading while entrenched and you can stay low to the ground. You don't have to lift the weapon, or your head, to feed ammo. US uses belt fed which has the same effect. You don't see them aiming down the barrel. I know I never did.

This video is either AI researched or just poorly researched. No a fiber optic controlled drone will not work 7km out. That’s the useful length a fiber-to-the-home internet connections (at minimum). That’s where this guy is getting his number, it’s as good as auto-generated. The weight of 7km of single mode fiber would be like a hundred or 200 pounds. Fiber optic drones will only work within a hundreds of meters because they’re tethered to a weight that gets heavier the further they fly.

The tank crew and and logistics units that you would propose attempt a recovery near the dangerous frontlines are living breathing men. Why risk people to potentially recover a piece of equipment when you are already at a manpower disadvantage.
