This is technically already possible in base game, where if you go back to menu after mother fight, the boss door opens and if there, you can use a curse room to go to the dark room. Not as versatile or reliable, but possible.
I believe (I could be wrong) that it’s also technically possible to joker card/teleport 2.0 into an angel/devil room and use the shovel to go to either cathedral or Sheol respectively. You can do the same thing if you don’t have either stage unlocked and get some unlocks early
There ARE mods for continue past mother, guareented boss rush, and hush (not as sure on the last two), but I like THIS mod more because there is a trade off, it’s not just free, which feels more in line with the spirit of Isaac
That Blue baby rework is sick! Since Blue baby is just dead Isaac it's cool to add the new dead Isaac's we've gotten since the release of the game (Forgotten and Lost being other stages of Isaac's corpse as it decomposes and eventually turns into a ghost)
The Unlocki's Key seems like an amazing item (kinda weird that it is quality 0 ._.) loving that ''Continue past mother'' because you can actually go past Mega Satan in the regular game

I suppose it makes some sense to tie it to Mother in particular. And I would say the 20% boost to enemies is fair, seeing as it allows you to continue a strong run for potentially further unlocks and checkmarks, rather than having to start over. Allowing access to Boss Rush and Hush does feel a bit superflous, maybe it giving access to Boss Trap rooms while also spawning an additional wave there could fit the theme of added challenge for benefits. Overall though pretty cool showcase and item. Same for the added champion varieties.
Hutts never gets old, I’ve been watching his channel for 2 years. He’s the person that first inspired me to get gungeon, still haven’t 100%ed that game (YET). I still love playing roguelikes and wouldn’t have gotten into them without Hutts.
I like how people hate Mom's Pad not because it's a bad item, because it's honestly decent for a room status afflicter item. People just hate it for the gross visual. And I'm of course part of that.
High key super excited for the boss rush and hush with no time limit. It was never a problem in Afterbirth+, but especially for characters that legit cannot rush through the game like Tainted Cain, this is gonna be a godsend.
Ngl i think the enemy/boss rework mod is a lot more interesting, the concept of continuing past mother mods feels way too easy even with the health increase lol
Finally got isaac on my pc, found some cool mods first, and then found out if you wanna keep achievements you've got to play vanilla first. Absolutely smashed my first run (Demon beggar still the goat). Looking forward to starting all over after 2 years on console, but this time with more shennanigans than i could ever dream of thanks to those crazy modding wizards
Fiend folio + reworked foes is a game changer if you played before. I started over recently and these 2 mods just makes the game feel so fresh and new! Also, repentance plus and retribution is a good addition
Hutts, I have been enjoying your content for years, but this mistake (7:08) is bull hickery. Obviously Samson's lock has a much more inferior damage output compared to The Twins, as the The Twins has a 50% chance of duplicating your Buddy in A Box, which is far more reliable than the 1/15 chance after killing an enemy, both of these trinkets only last for one room and are chance based, but seeing as The Twins has a 50% chance versus Samson's Lock having a 6.25% chance upon killing an enemy, I think the answer is clear, having two Buddy's in a Box every other room, is way stronger than maybe getting a small damage up if the room has a lot of enemies, also, my arguement is further supported by your luck stat at the time, being -2, as Samsons Lock scales with luck and The Twins doesn't; need I say more?
Really hope you'll keep Reworked Foes for a few more runs. You have barely scratched the surface of this mod!

i use a mod to remove the time limits, I play to have fun and relax, being rushed for no reason is ass.
