Its so crazy that this is his rookie season in a toro rosso mid car , and he shows instantly that he could scored points in his first race but the car had problems , also breaking record of becoming the youngest f1 point scorer them fighting with alonso with the legenday line GP2 ENGINE , beating his team mate carlos and saying NO , fighting with ferraris and also almost 2 podiums , THATS CRAZY

I cant understand it. How a super Young driver that only raced in F3 (and not much) can be so good in his rookie season in F1. The lack of experience and the big jump between F3 and F1 couldnt stop him. Racing is his blood.

I mean he his dad was an ex formula one driver. I'm sure he had connections, money and experience so its not that surprising. Not to diminish his talent but there are probably hundreds of incredibly talented kids that we'll never know about (I'm not a hamilton fan but he's a prime example) because the sport is so inaccessible and elitist.
I wasn't a big fan of Max when he came into the sport but now that he has a few seasons under his belt he has really matured. Honestly one of my favorite drivers on the grid and hes showing his talent, he made Gasly look like a scrub and he isn't a slow driver.
Every interview after the race you notice how excited he is. He really enjoys racing. And today, it's still the love of racing in F1 that drives him to get the very best out of the car and himself. He deserves to be WDC 2021. 🏆

he's a pioneer for every young talent looking to get something done in f1. He ended the taboo on rookies in a spectacular way and he should never be forgotten for that. Yes he took risks early in his career, yes it some times ended in tears. But in the end all that is just a testament to this guy's character and attitude. Never change Max

I have to say. Max has never shown worry or fear. Is like an attacking robot. Lacks a bit of sportsmanship. The competition of a lion. Great professional. An amazing driver. Most F1 would give you the lead way in certain situations. While Max is focused on the inches you gave him to pass you. Great video 😎
Nothing wrong with his sportsmanship, the Checo thing didn't matter in the end and we will not know what really happend between the two, Max is just a great guy, good karma, F1 driver do respect him and he can go along with al his previous team mates... Since Lewis is not in the picture anymore he is absolutely flawless...Something Lewis did not achieve in his dominant years...Pure perfection is what we are seeing at the moment and hope it will continue until the end of the season, something we probably will never witness again in our lives. Vettel is for certain watching Zandvoort this month!

You can but It's very difficult. But verstappen overtake on maldonaldo was not realy a classic overtake because maldonaldo was gradualy losing his brakes. So thats why he brake so erly at sainte devote.
I didn't like Max at first, but Max did resemble the older generation drivers: aggressive, fiesty, never give up attitude which made me appreciate him much more compare to the new generation drivers which just care the personal image, looks, social media and stuff. One of a kind in the new generation. I hope to see Max continuing to grow. Max really remind me of the young Senna.

The first full race I saw... Was him winning the 2016 Spanish GP, (As a Kid that always said, "I'm fan of the one that comes first") I became a fan of him, now that I understand what I'm watchingm I can see his mega overtakes and his bravery at the wheel, being the only one who has put Mecedes in trouble alone...
His first three races would go to describe his time with a Renault PU so perfectly. Ands it’s crazy that Max could’ve gotten a podium in only his 10th race, in a Toro Rosso. If you didn’t see his talent after that, I don’t know what would show you.

No-one says that, especially not experienced drivers. Kimi once overtook 3 guys in 2 laps in 2013.

Maldonado is always tricky to overtake.
