- Bajaj Avenger 220 2018 Cruise is here. It gets many changes. The design has undergone a change, the styling has evolved and the bike looks a lot more aggressive. Bajaj has been working on a range of new bikes for the Indian market and one of them is the Avenger family. This has also just got a major overhaul making it an exciting bike to consider.

Looks very premium. But before complaining anything one must look in pricing which Bajaj is offering these bikes. Bajaj has always been a game changer in Indian biking history.

honestly after riding my avenger cruise 220, 2000 plus kms, i see nothing to complain about...
i love to ride it, it's very smooth yet powerful, and a very cool looking bike...

Bajaj has a perfect opportunity to upgrade the engine of avenger cruise to 500 cc or 350 cc ,change all fiber works to metals with a little bit of increased height, front forks a muscular one, exhaust sound with thump, don't change the length and trust me the Royal Enfield & UM Market share is all your's and also will be having the potential to capture Harley's Market share in India
I wish same headlight design was implemented in street 220 too.
I liked the head lamp (LDR's) and ofcourse digital speedometer. Seriously now design of bike looks premium. but where is auburn black. Today, I went to bajaj showroom to buy cruiser but now, I'll wait to this new model. I was planning to but avenger from last 3 months but waiting for new year, Now I'll change my mind to wait longer to buy this new model. Thanks for showing new look of avenger. Also waiting for video on auburn black model.

Only cosmetic upgrades. My avenger 220 from 2012 was an upgrade to my previous avenger 180 from October 2005. I tried the new refresh and came away disappointed because it gives the same feeling as the old version of 220. This new marketing strategy of avenger by splitting it into three versions is targeted at the new customer who has never owned a cruiser before. For someone like me I will upgrade when I get a twin cylinder engine that makes enough torque at lower RPMs. The single cylinder bikes vibrate too much at higher RPM that it's not worth buying the refresh model or a higher capacity single cylinder model. Two cylinder is the future.
This versión is only for the Indian local market? I bet, it would be a great bike if Bajaj reléase worldwide.

What is the service cost?? What is the price of is spare parts like chain sproket, brakes, clutch cable, engine oil etc?

This is undoubtedly nice bike, but before going to purchase this bike i just want to know the braking of this bike. As there is no ABS to this bike the front wheel gets locked while braking in panic situation. Also i heard that from April 2018 Govt has made ABS compulsory. So, is Bajaj is bringing new version of this bike with ABS?

You know nothing but made a channel anyway? Spoke wheels are not for show. They are more durable and flexible. Flex is needed for bad roads in india.

Looking better and more premium then the previous model.
Still petrol tank crome to be black in colour as sunlight reflects a lot on sunny days drive. Good for few trips... Very sensitive and requires maintenance as compared to other bikes. First gear issue I hope they resolved to this newly launched model.
I think that the new 2018 Bajaj Avenger gets a gear position indicator also

cosmetic changes is good however every day commuting in Bangalore Night riding back from office to come need ABS and rear disc brakes.

every thing is good but as it has got spoked rims tubeless tyres cannot be installed which can be a negative point as this bike as the name suggests is for crusing that means long distance driving and if the tyres gets punctured owner will not get time to bring it to some where it can be fixed tyres will get flattened right away which can be hazards in high speeds

No one is launching ABS in 2018. I thought that government has made it mandatory for bikes above 125cc from April 2018.
April 2018 it will be mandatory.
The same model might get Abs in the later part of the year...
