@@rich2.088 mine doesn't have that setting either. F#%k Vizio, man. It used to be that nearly EVERY individual video game had this feature themselves on startup, so what the hell are we doing here?!

I finally figured out a solution for my quite old pioneer plasma today, partly by luck as I’ve tried many times before. I switched the hdmi input from video to pc. If that helps just one other person, it was worth my time commenting. Fingers crossed for you, I know it’s insanely frustrating.
Just a hint as this happened to me some people may have a button on their remote labeled pic this is actually the aspect ratio button u just press that button until it fits ur screen properly
I have an old insignia monitor for my Xbox and I do not have the remote. and I was using the menu buttons and I still could not find how to adjust my screen.
To adjust it on Xfinity remote you want to put your TV input to HDMl2. Then you want to click on the button that says Xfinity or what is also the menus button. Go all the way to the right and click on the button that looks like a gear. Scroll down to Video Display and click on that. Then you can modify your screen zoom!
Guys, if your tv doesn't have an option to change the screen size you can try this: Every time you go in a game, go to the settings and try to adjust the screen size there. Some games have this option, but not all. Sorry
For me, I had to change aspect ratio in TV settings, was set to 16:9, apparently Xbox is not showing in 16:9. I have a “screen fit” option instead of 16:9 that fixed it. (Samsung, but you may have a similar option.)

Same I’ve spent more hours than I can count over the years pulling my hair out over this. My old plasma just doesn’t have an overscan option. X360 had the option to adjust the screen edges. Lame.
Not useful, honestly. I came here looking for how to adjust screen size on the Xbox One, but the only solution is the same one Xbox gives you, which is "you can't, adjust your tv instead." That's not a solution, and it doesn't help people who cannot adjust their television for whatever reason. Which is the situation I am in. Older TVs and TVs in hotels and other places often won't let you mess with these settings. I need to change the screen size ON the Xbox One itself, and you don't show how to do that. It can't be done, apparently.
Yup…we’re all here because we have a TV that doesn’t adjust and we’re shown - again - how the Xbox CAN’T do anything about it. And these videos don’t help that.
I'm using a VIZIO. Followed the steps and even checked the link, but there is no aspect ratio option. The closest thing was H/V, but even on the lowest settings my screen did not fit properly. I'm in quite the pickle here.
So if I wanted to watch a DVD on my XBOX One, but I see that that DVD is letterboxed, I can do what's done here and change it so that my letterboxed DVD will properly fit the screen?
