The Best Of All is the amazing Kawasaki Z900 RS.
But I miss the fantastic Kawasaki W800.
The Thruxton looks amazing !!!!!!!!
Guzzi and 650 Kawasaki, slim clean and style.
Moto Guzzi v7 850 is the most retro!
He is amazing😍
Got to be the Bonnie or the Thruxton. Soooo gorgeous.
Z900 RS FTW. Have a blue '22. Love smooth, torquey 4 bangers.
The Kawasaki is the standout bike by far
👌👌👌
Fine Art at its best , a MOTORBIKE is part of your body, a CAR is around you , there is no finer feeling i have ever known as being at one with these machines
Oh there’s finer feelings than that, I assure you.
The Kawasaki Z900RS blows them all away.
I bought a 2016 Triumph 120 Bonneville with ABS. I Love it! But I would buy one of each of these if I had Jay Leno's money
The real retro bike here isn't a retro but a continuous bloodline it's carried on from the 60s till today.... Moto Guzzi V7 👍
Or any of the Royal Enfield 350s...
And so be it!
Classic bikes most definitely have something very appealing about them!
Love the V7, just wish it was more Bonneville size as I find it just a touch too small😢
I like this video👍😊
Thanks bro😍
for looks, the Moto Guzzi v7 wins it for me
You just nailed it!
That first triumph oh to see that on the market!!
The Thruxton is just stunning
Moto guzzi and royal enfield are only ones that can be considered retro.😊
Damn right! All the others are modern bikes in retro clothes.
Moto Guzzi and Triumph are great .
The Z900 KAWASAKI THE BEST ✨👍👑👍✨
Some cool bikes; I really like that Kawasaki 650!
Z900 with 4 into 1.Yes.
Royal Enfield bikes look like retro-max Head turners, and represent incredible value. Though I love my beast Ducati streetfighter
Royal Enfield never stopped being "retro" they just made incremental improvements.
thruxton triumph has it 100%
The Z900 looks amazing, but is it retro just to have a retro tank? Also the Bonneville seems to be the standard for retro. It just looks like how you imagine a mc. The Interceptor is a great job, the Kawasaki's just look too high tech for retro. They all look fantastic though, beautiful engineering.
No Kawasaki W800 here why? That is one great looking bike. Especially mine. 😊
Le Kawa le più belle
They forgot the fine Kawasaki W800
❤❤❤❤❤
Kawasaki Z900RS with those 4 cylinders that are disappearing for twins is the retro motorbike to buy.
Why would a bike, paying homage to the original Z900 have anything but 4 cylinders? Its bad enough the Z650 is a twin, if they tried that with the Z900, Kawasaki would be a laughing stock.
Best retro is the Triumph Thruxton, best retro value and performance is the Kawi Z900RS
Benelli imperiale 400 has a good retro look too !
All nice looking machines, my choice would be the Kwaka Z650. They always used to punch above their weight back in the 70’s, so hopefully still do.
The 70s bikes were 2 stroke these are 4 stroke so I'd take an original for speed anyday.
@@davidtycker isnt that the other way around?
You’d take a 50 Hp twin? ffs
@@richardquilter9665 Yes it has two cylinders less than the original Z650 but still a great looking bike. Bet it’s also fun to ride because it has only the two cylinders.
Plus it’s actually 68hp and not 50hp so it’ll pack a punch. 😁
@@theoriginablindpilot No sir. A two stroke will smoke a 4. That's why if your racing dirt bikes 4 stroke 250s compete against 125 2 smokes.
Guzzi ❤
Have a thruxton it is fun go figure it has two wheels. Like the rest of these. Love to ride them all.😊
Triumph, Triumph, Triumph………all day long for me. All b gorgeous bikes though.
Manufacturers, apart from RE, seem to be following the ‘less for more’ doctrine.
Kawasaki engine looks very "messy" compared to Triumphs' neat installation-especially from left side ( with no exhaust .) Liking Enfield 350 . 😍😍
Just fallen in love with triumph 1200
Yiami yiami for all of them....
The Z650 and Z900
so true these are SO GOOD had early z650 and z900 also z1000
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Kawasaki Z 900 RS are my picks!! .
Surprised at such low HP numbers especially Triumph. Kawasaki 900 had good output.
The Kawa W800 is not here!!!! It is the best retro, even has a 360 crank - You're review is incomplete without the W800!
I do love the Thruxton, stunning!
The z900 coul be perfect if they just put double suspension rear shocks and double exhaust, would really be perfection, but at his current state it's a miss opportunity, that said when we talk about authenticity, the Moto Guzzi V7 it's the only real choice.
👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏🙏🙋♂
low to moderate power outputs and 200kg......When are they going to make some simple decent bikes as opposed to low powered barges?
The V7`s have always looked good and the Thruxton had good had good purposeful lines but was too tarted up with the pinstripes
The seat Height reported on the Moto Guzzi V7 Special is wrong, it's not 880mm that is rediculously high, it actually comes out at 30.7 inches which is 780mm 100mm less or 4 inches in imperial measurements!
The bike in the thumbnail. Nice bike if it had a front mudguard and a decent exhaust. Why leave the back wheel hanging there. It's a road bike not motocross.. the guzzi looked nice.
Seems funny to me that we go back to the paralell twins and smaller (by todays standards) engine size. I particularly like the Royale Enfield 650 twins. I haven't heard or read anything bad about them....
A return to practical, cheap biking that's not to scary to drive. The modern retro is perfect if you want style and a weekend cruiser. Harleys simply got too expensive.
The reason they've done that is cost, and emissions. A parallel twin is cheaper to make and easier to get by the ever tightening emissions.
Z900
No spec for the Triumph Thruxton 1200 Bordoux ? Spoiled it all ! Looks a quick bike. Velocette Thruxton was one of the quickest of its time, I remember it well, although never had one.
Last 2 bikes were custom builds, therefore not factory retros.
Unfortunately these are not the stock examples!
Own a V7 950 and love it. However, thoroughly confused by the Californian. Is it a concept bike and $34k, are we for real?
Custom built like the Thruxton.
The Z650RS is the bike for me. The last bike that was shown in this someone should be sacked for thrown that together.
The last two are customs, no idea why they are lumped in with factory bikes.
Awful background noise
Yo me the best retro bikes are the ones which were built in gone-by eras, but according to the standards of their time, rather than the ones built today with today’s standards but which unsuccessfully try to look like real classics. The best example, compare a BMW Nine-T with an R90/S of 1973.
Just saw a video of bikes from 1938 All 1000cc v twins all do 100 mph.
I think some of those top speed estimates may be a bit optimistic. 😄
As someone who worked in a dealership that had a Factory Pro EC997 chassis dyno, I KNOW manufacturers Hp claims are optimistic.😆
For 34 grand that Guzzi could have used 2 discs on front.
Hands down the Kawasaki Z900RS!!!
Looks wise the Thruxton at 9:45 is a beautiful looking bike. to bad it has the low handlebars. if I wanted to break my back I would do it on a sports bike. I don't know why Triumph doesn't also put the 100 hp engine on the Bonnenville. 80hp is just not enough.
Well the Thruxton IS a sports bike, or should i say "Cafe racer" its named after the Thruxton Circuit, track in Hampshire, where, in 1969 Triumph got the top three places in the Thruxton 500 mile endurance race. Also, this isn't a factory Thruxton, its been modified by UNICAT motorworks in Poland, a stock Thruxton doesnt have such low bars.
The Speed Twin makes similar power to the Thruxton and has high bars. The standard clip-ons on the Thruxton have risers and aren't particularly low or uncomfortable. I have the bar lowering kit on my Thruxton and I can sit pretty upright and still reach the bars if I wish. It's a sporty bike, so it needs a sporty riding position.
Sum beautys! Too bad so overpriced. Prob won't sell many.
What about the Royal Enfield Super Meteor?
250 husler
Have self been driving motor - bike as a young man - and those where the days and somebody did not made the trip which was the reason i stopped driving these rockets
That Triumph tank (red/gold trim) looks just like my XS 1100 tank.
Triumph Thruxton looks nice, except for that reduculas looking number plate holder, what were they thinking .ffs.
The Guzzi California shown in this video is a one-off custom piece. The production California 1100 hasn't been made since 2012 and it was a cruiser in any case, not a radical cafe racer. Why include it?
Just FYI nobody watches a video to read the captions.
Nice bikes though.
The Royal looks like something made in INDIA for Christ sakes!!
der Kühler der Kawa stört….schade.
Honda and Norton are missing... all Enfield and Guzzi....
Nie wiem czemu używasz przy prędkości "mp/h"? Tym slashem dublujesz słowo "per" i w tym przypadku mamy miles per per hour. Pozdrowienia.
Royalenfiend hell noooooo motoguzy hel no the rest sexy if they can ride and handle
the short royal enfield seat doesnt look right.....i think
Essa placa Pl de qual país???
Polônia.
Where's the BMW R Nine T Scrambler or Road bike?, you don't get more vintage than that! But then again, would BMW really want to be seen next to lesser bikes! Probably not!
you forgot the new kid,the BSA gold star 650
I didn't miss it. Unfortunately, they don't bring British bikes to motorcycle shows in Europe.
@Motor TV they displayed the triumphs and they are probably more English than the new bsa
Surely you mean the Mahindra 650!
@@CB1000FP1 😁
Does sticking a BSA gold star badge on a motorcycle make it a BSA gold star? 🤔🤔
Applying for bank loan...
Put a real rear fender on that Kaw900 and I might buy it, thing still looks like a damn insect!
Why don't you buy one and put a real rear fender on it? :)
They look like that because there are weird design rules many countries have about placement of rego plates, rear reflectors and stuff, and where its supposed to be in regard to the rear wheel etc. Its all written up by bureaucrats who don't have the slightest idea about design, but the manufactures have to comply so....
Luckily there are aftermarket companies suppling all sorts of goodies for the Z900, from longer tail pieces like the original, to four into four exhausts, again like the original.
I have seen some hideous faux pas styling add ons, like the fake "twin shocks" you can buy, to make it look like its a twin shock model.🤣🤣
The only one that looks the part is the first triumph but those fake carbs look cheep .
I guess you] didn't make it as far as 6:24.
La Z900 va che é una bellezza l'estetica della parte posteriore é una scelta che la rende affidabile per la guida veloce provatela e poi
ne riparliamo
What on earth are those fuel consumption numbers supposed to mean?…. Why don’t they put them in MPG then we’ll actually understand them!,……
Does the background music really need to be the endlessly annoying and ubiquitous synth hi-hat??? Please, enough already!! We’re not in a club!!
kawa,,650...more like the 1970s...
la honda non esiste ?
Triumphs have always carried the style , from the 1960,s , when one was young and no 70 mph speed Limit . Wages around £15 a week and five and a half day week .
What John Bloor did with Triumph is amazing, by the time the 70s rolled around Triumph were in big trouble, the bikes were well past their prime design wise, and were poorly assembled with parts made with worn out tooling. The company was being mis-managed by people that didn't care about the marque, and its surprising they staggered on as long as they did.
A parallel twin has a 360 degree crankshaft. A 270 or 180 degree crankshaft is not a parallel twin.
You obviously don't understand. A 270 degree crank means one piston follows 3 quarters of a rotation behind the other, which results in an uneven firing interval where the 2nd cylinder fires 270 degrees after the first.
@@61js paralleltwin has a 360 degree crankshaft!
@@61js ua-cam.com/video/a9ZFZABaLbg/v-deo.html
@@MrLagnil parallel twin = Twin cylinder engine with its cylinders parallel to each other, crank phasing can be 180 270 or 360 degrees but its still a parallel twin
@@61js They want to emulate the character of the V twin engine; why not give us the real thing then...?
Where’s Honda CB 350
Somewhere in Asia.
exposed seams around lower tanks on some bikes look cheap and ugly
The Z900 Kawa isn't really balanced question look ! The front is rétro but behind it is too modern..the best motos rétros are the Triumph Bonneville, the Royal Enfield, the BMW 1800.
I agree
Agreed
You should ride one.
I absolutely agree. These bikes are beautiful classic works of art. Current motorcycle design, if considered art at all, are modern or abstract works of art. Not the same!
W800?
The original Bonnie was made for young guns.,...now its made for old farts.......even the injection is made to look like old school carbs😅😅😅😅😅
How did Royal Enfield make the cut?
Due to being retro classics
Unikat Motorworks want $34000usd for a Cali 1100 thats turned into a piece of crap, really, I personally could do better at $20K.
The music sounds awful!
ouah elles sont toutes belles !
ua-cam.com/video/3wTqHjA9fIQ/v-deo.html
une seule d'entre elles me suffirait mais en attendant !
cherche donateur !? en vain ! ou en vin pour oublier !
Without doubt the Kwakker Z900S, the best bike. Damn but those Royal Enfields are ugly.
Perhaps you need to visit Specksavers.
Teils gräuslichste Farben. Schade.
