The 2024 Champions Chess Tour (CCT) is Chess.com's most important event series of the year with the overall winner being crowned Tour Champion, the highest annual honor conferred by the world's largest chess platform. I get the factual nature of the name, but the fact that there’s a loser’s bracket, that will eventually culminate in the loser’s final, has to be somewhat discouraging. Do they give out a loser’s trophy to the winner of all loser’s??? They should really come up with a better name for that tournament. The graphics they keep showing with “Loser’s” on the top is unintentionally hilarious to me….
The winner of loser's final plays the grand final. So, they can even win the final trophy!
