If I ever make UA-cam videos I’m adopting an hbomberguy strategy of getting a big whiteboard on wheels and covering it in wallpaper and I’ll just stand/sit in front of it and you’ll never know the chaos that lives behind it
i honestly really enjoy the candid shots in some of your older videos where it's just a random part of your living room (although I don't doubt you didn't go through the same film brain process for that too).
Lately the videos I've been enjoying the most are all on people's second channels: yours, Noah's and Big Joel's. Big videos about big issues give me anxiety because I feel I have to react (agree / disagree / do more research or whatever). The second channels, however, are just places to hang out. You don't have to add a moral or a point to your videos, just saying what's on your mind is fine. Ironic enough, I wasn't interested in that back when I was less lonely. Sooo umm thanks. If I did youtube my anxiety would finish me quickly, I'm glad you're sticking this out.
i feel like i get the most from when people are just honest about how they're feeling and i definitely got something out of this. there doesn't need to be a concrete message or anything. thank you for this.
This video reminds me a bit of whatt Noah Samsen has been posting on his Noah time channel, and im here for it. Its nice to put on in the background while doing random tasks
Man i feel you on the whole "setting up being harrowing" thing. You never notice what you take for granted until your body decides "ehhhhh. Nah" But regardless, turning your art into a job will always be a...faustian deal of a sort. But finding what you love and making that so you're still satisfied with your work is the only way to continue, i believe. Plus having an outlet that isnt just work. So i'd say maybe let that be what this channel is? It doesnt have to have a point insomuch as being educational or inspiring. This can be a place for you to just...create? Whatever you want, without worrying about the algorithm or views or being profound. At least thats what i think, and what i applied when i still did art professionally lol. Obvs you have to be careful how you spend your spoons, but if you burn out it wont make a difference, yknow? And your sentiment was heard, dont worry man. It makes sense. I look forward to your full vid whenever that comes out, but for now its just cool to hear from you!
i bet most people use youtube as a podcast platform. i sure do! anyway this sounds like my OCD, theres little chance anyone cares as much as you think! online personalities are just that! thats the important thing! everything else is just background noise/bonus. youd be surprised how little people notice the details.
