As a speech pathologist I'll suggest that you only speak in Korean as a family and let the boys learn English at school and outside. Else they might forget Korean completely. I experience that with a lot Of families I work with. won't take long before they become fluent at it because English is everywhere. I also have children and they couldn't speak any English until they went to school and now perfectly speak both languages. Hope this helps.
I think they are just trying to help her son get used to hearing English more and get comfortable with speaking in English. As someone who is bilingual, having both languages being spoken to you at home is very important. Sadly, there was only one language at my home and that made it a bit harder for me to adjust to English at school. (Had to take esl classes)

try flour when wash grapes, just sprinkle some flour in a bowl, doesn't have to be too much, filled with water, put grapes in the bowl of floured water, let it set for like 10 minutes, and then get rid of the floured water, and rinse the grapes with tap water. it should wash the oily part off, not perfectly, but it worked somehow. this is how I wash grapes.
