Got to say I’m a huge Van Halen fan in every incarnation, except the VHIII era, and an equally huge Satch fan. For all the naysayers out there I just say get a life. Mike and Sammy have every right to play music they created with whom so ever they choose. Much props to all them and especially Satch and Jason for their interpretation of some great VH classics. Sammy and Mike still sound great vocally, I’m sure as the tour rolls on they’ll iron out all the kinks. But if there’s a throwback to the past it’s that they’re all having fun up there on stage. That’s how I prefer to remember Van Halen and am blessed to have seen them on the F.U.C.K. tour in Belgium in 1993. RIP Eddie you’re always remembered, thanks for the great memories.
Fantastic. They sound great. What a tribute. Sammy and Mike kill the vocals, Satch and Bonham have their parts down really well. Just enjoy it folks, it will all be in the past soon.
Special Kudos should be given to Jason Bonham playing drums for Alex Van Halen and Joe Satriani playing lead guitar on behalf of Eddie Van Halen so this tribute to the Van Halen music could happen. These two musician are incredible players in every respect, gutsy to take on such a responsibility. My hat is off, thumbs up, a positive salute is given in respect to them.

That's not a knock on Wolfie, he's a supremely talented musician. Satch has spent his entire life trying NOT to be another EVH clone. He does this and the Experience Hendrix shows because he loves and respects them as guitar legends. Don't forget to berate the keys player for not playing like Ed or smackin the tambourine as well as Alex.
