Another one of these unbelievable great bands that never reached the ears of the metal folks. Very unlucky band history, but they digged their own grave with their second output, and so noone seemed to notice that they released one of the best REAL metal albums ever. Thanx so much, your vid is a contribution for justice, and it offers a chance for young metalheads to meet a piece of music that noone can take them anymore if once heard- power without end!
Deen and Jeff and I were big Rush fans, so when we were writing the music for this album, we decided to make it a bit more progressive than the first 2 Wild Dogs albums.
Not Deen's first band! I played in 2 bands with Deen, before he joined Wild Dogs. I found cassette tapes of some of our recordings in my storage today, from 1980, '81 & '82. Deen joined Wild Dogs in late 1982, and then I joined Wild Dogs in 1985. We recorded the Reign of Terror album in May of 1986, and it was released March 20, 1987.
I got this album from my older brother but I laughed it off because of the name. I think these guys could have done a hell of alot better if they would have changed their name. I kick myself in the ass for getting rid of that cassette.
That intro is awesome 😎

Hey, man! Thanks for the compliment! It was awesome to write, rehearse, and record this stuff!
Rik Bartel, Wild Dogs
Another killer metal band from Oregon my home state. They're just like Anvil they never got the respect they deserved.
Anvil sucks! Voted worse metal. Hell they're wives support them. Seen them in 85. Worse $1.50 I ever spent. I'd at least spend $10 on this group.
@@cosmiclust9492 go listen ‘Forged in fire’
Que som Infernal !!!!!!
MUITO BOM. PURO HEAVY METAL. PENA QUE NÃO FICOU FAMOSA. PARABENS PARA A BANDA.
EXCELENTE MUSICAL. 100% HEAVY METAL. COMANCHE MC. NILOPOLIS RIO DE JANEIRO
Wild Dogs were an early Mike Varney (Shrapnel Records) act. Since those records were marketed only to metal guitar heads, they got limited exposure.
this isone hell of the band i have all of there albums
