Tough, gritty, skilled competitor. Payton has the attributes to be a starting lead guard in this league. He’s a proven winner. We worked on getting him a little stronger, a little quicker/shifty off the pop, consistent deep ball off the dribble and catch. Placed him in competition versus some elite NBA guards and he showed out. Can't wait to see him display his skills during his rookie season!

He's definitely ready!!! I like his game a lot and he's gritty on defense.

Are you serious? He’s nowhere near fast or quick as Chris Paul, or the elite handles Chris Paul coming out wake forest. Chris Paul court awareness was already HOF status. Not even close! pritchard is nice but Chris Paul was the #4 pick and consensus number 1 point guard.
