It's good to see more and more brothas out there driving lifted trucks. I'm like one of the only few in Delaware that buy, fix up, and own lifted trucks as a hobby. I had an old 3inch Rancho lifted Chevy K-5 Blazer with 35inch ProCmp tires, 11inch lifted blacked-out Ford Excursion with 38inch toyo tires, 6inch ProComp lifted Toyota FJ Cruiser with 35 inch tires, in which I bought stock then had it lifted, 2 second generation Dodge Rams in which one had 37inch Super Swamper IROC's slapped on 17ich OEM wheels, the other had 40inch Mickey Thompsons slapped on 22inch Fuel wheels, and the most recent black 2005 Hummer SUT with a 6inch Fabtech lift, with 38inch Toyo tires. Fun, fun, fun!
Wow you have been having a lot of fun lol! Once I was able to get all my ducks in row with my career and everything I always wanted a truck that looked like a truck lol so I had to lift this Ram. It has been fun owning it and I am hopeful to have future truck projects. You never know, Chevy & GMC may step up their game and I'll pick up one of those down the road. @@snowram22 I have some Brand New TIS 544 BM 22X12-44 with 35x12.5 Terra Hunter MTs but I think I'm going to sell them and go with a 20 inch wheel and 35 inch tire set up instead.
@@rodneyn.7015 hell yeah. I think that’s the route to go. That’s what I did. I actually put 35’s on my factory 22’s and it looks dope! I have pictures on my channel if you wanna see it.
Your balance they done is called static balance not road force. Road force is a machine made by Hunter. It has a wheel on the wheel balancer that just measures the total run out. The Hunter balancer also has a feature called smart weight that is designed to save the company with the machine money on wheel weights. Static balance is what you have that is where they add the weights in the center of your rim. Any off road, alterain , or large tires will be done in static balance because the call for so much weight to put weights on in the dynamic mode of the balancer. For instance dynamic weights go on each side of the rim and larger wheels might call for 6oz on the one side and 4 on the other but in static mode it may only call for 5oz in the center of the wheel. Do this balance is like the old style bubble balance that was done in the late 80’s and earlier years. Only thing is now you have a machine that tells you the weight instead of guessing. I build and repair these machines for a living so that’s how I know about it and with weights in different spots of your wheel is call counter balancing. So you might have 3oz in one spot but when you do your check spin it might tell you that you need to add more weight in a new spot.
Wow, thanks for the information. Maybe they called it road force but did something else. I specifically asked for it at the shop. I need to read up on it more before the next wheel balance. Please subscribe if you can!

I want to get my first truck but the more and more I do my homework on this things. I’m 50/50 on getting one now so much BS on lift and after market rims. @ akeyno gaming I do drive my truck almost daily but not that many miles. I've driven maybe 4,000 miles on my tires since July 2021 and they still look basically brand new with the little whiskers showing in different areas. I do not go off road or in the mud. Also, I do not spin tires or anything like that. The truck shop stated that I should probably get 30K to 40K miles on the tires so they'll last me several years based on the current driving patterns. I got 60K miles on 50K mile Michelin tires before so I believe I drive carefully lol. If you drive differently, then you can get different results.

Nice truck my brother! I have the same truck. I have a 6 inch lift and I’m running 22x12 -44 hostile rims wrapped in a 35x12 12 1/2 tire. The only run I get once in a blue moon is when I’m backing up on full lock depending on how even the surface. I had some trimming done when the lift was installed. There’s was still a little rubbing. In the end I removed the front valance and the break damper and there’s no run at all. Removing the front valance also makes the truck look a couple of inches higher too.
Hey what’s up man? What brand lift kit do you have on your truck and how many inches does everything come included in the kit? Do you have the serial number or the number to the lift kit? I think the most you can lift is 5 inches anything higher than that you have to take out the air suspension, right if I was to go with the 5 inch lift kit and I wanted to lift it another inch in the front is that possible or drop half inch to an inch in the back so it could be offset you think it’s possible
Good morning. Still enjoying your videos. Wanting to know, as of now, are you still satisfied with you Rough Country lift kit? I'm trying to decide between RC and BDS Lift kits.
Enjoy your videos and especially your demeanor , even with the negative comments . I have a 21’ Laramie same color with 20”s and only a basic level on the front . Just did a kicker KS speaker swap and adding a a JL 5 channel amp and 1 - 12” sub . Thank you sir , keep doing you 👍🏼
Thanks for the encouragement and kind words. Congrats that's a nice truck you selected. I was on the fence about installing a Fox Box ported subwoofer box with one 12" Alpine Type S woofer. Fox Box requires that you lift up the back seats about a 1/2", cut your floor mats, and there is a special signal connection device that is needed to make everything work from what I understand. Just curious what type of sub box you went with. Was it sealed or ported and did it fit under the seat without affecting access to your floor compartments? What was the cost for that setup?
I have a 6inch lift on my 2002 ram with a 3inch body lift my keys are cranked up and i go through so many cv axles smh but i just got a 2020 i dont think ima lift it if i do maybe a leveling kit they can be costly
Hey Bud, New subscriber to your channel. Nice rig! I hear you on what your pointing out in this video lol. Last Fall i installed new 37x13.50's on 24x14 wheels and its a new learning curve and you have to be aware of where you go and how you drive not having much sidewall. I had metal/plastic trimming on my original setup with a 6" Zone Offroad lift on 37's in 2017 on my Ram 1500 sport, Now i had more trimming to fit this setup and i still need more trimming and im running a 6" suspension and 3' body lift now. Im also running balance beads, I was told to go with the beads But im also running 37" tires. Yes lifted trucks are expensive and your never done adding to them lol. I actually took out 2 different truck accessory loans a couple years apart which you can go hog wild buying whatever you want to put on the truck. Im still not close to being done. This summer i already have a bunch more things that need to go on and things i still want to order. This truck will easily exceed 80+K from the $53K sticker and all my upgrades. I do wish it was a 5th gen. I also have the electric drop steps and absolutely love them on a lifted truck. Hit me up at jdeeress@yahoo.com if you might need help with any of my ideas and upgrades i added or will be adding. I also switched all my lights to 5th gen style. Retroshopus.com does awesome work. Im hoping to start a youtube channel also and to feature my rig in some videos.
Love the lifted look, but from what I understand, unless the lift is done by authorized dealer using Mopar approved parts, the warranty is void. Most dont care after three years but since my truck is warranted for 7 years or 85K miles.....I won't be lifting anytime soon. Got the 2021 Lariat Night Edition with 6,800 miles so far & the ride parallels any Cadillacs or Lincolns I have owned over last 30 years even at 85MPH.....but That truck looks mean though......damn.
@Kevin Killings My truck has not been back to the dealership since I lifted it this summer. I do not put that many miles on it. However, when I want an oil change and tire balance/rotation I will go to a truck shop. When I did the lift I had the shop save all components even the cross member cut. Therefore, I can return it to stock when ever I want too. Additionally, a dealership can't just void your whole warranty. They would have to prove that the lift directly affected the component under warranty in order to fight you on a claim.
Have 21 laraine got 6’ rough country lift kit with similar tires and rims don’t really like the ride spent like 5K on it wish I’d done some research before lifting it. I’m thinking about investing in better suspension maybe air ride one suspension
I saw a truck in my mall parking lot today same rims and same. color. I was like noooooooo. there's no way! lol. then I realized they had 22's lol I just added a leveling kit to mine. debating if I should do a lift or not! I'm pretty fresh to UA-cam as well... getting used to posting videos and what not! but I like your channel bud.
@SnowRam22 Lol I know what you mean about the truck. I have seen any in my area exactly like mine with that Granite Metallic Color, night edition, 24's, and a lift either. Congrats on starting your channel and thanks for the kind words.
I heard so much about thr ride if lifted i went with 3.5 rough country lift with a goid quality tire mickey Thompsons the ride is smooth quiet so glad i lifted mine
I have this truck as well.. I’ve asked about lifting it and was told that I would have to remove the air suspension.. how did u get urs lifted and keep the air suspension? Can u give me a cost range?
@ Moreno_ty Thanks for the compliment. I did not want to go any bigger than a 35" tire. The bigger name brands did not have a tire that would work with my 24's. There was a fuel tire 35x13.5x24 but the first set had a bad tire in it. Therefore, the shop recommended I try Venom Terra Hunter R/T+ in a 35x12.5x24. I put almost 4,000 miles on them since summer and they are doing good. I am pleased.
Hello. Those are factory fender flares and came with the truck. I believe they may only come on the Limited 5th gen trucks or they only come on the Night Edition version of the truck. Please subscribe if you can!
Hey man, you just gained a new subscriber! Awesome truck and thank you for all the information. I do have a question….are you still able to control the height of the truck after the lift? Essentially does your air ride factory button still work and lift the truck even higher or lower?
Nice truck,i have a 2020 1500 classic 3.5 lift do you do any hauling? I haul a inclised work trailer no problem pulling it is a smooth hauling truck but with my lift it sure squats my ass end down
You would greatly benefit from installing new HD coil springs on the rear to allow for the towing of trailers ( big or small ) won't effect ride height if You do Your homework & get proper height 1's
@William Moffatt The total is likely to be in the $7,000 to $8,000 range depending on the wheels, tires, taxes, etc. I'll do a video on the costs soon.
Do what i did, Take out an accessory loan (Im on my second loan of $14K) and do whatever you wish for a couple hundred a month Instead of trying to save around $6K or more just for the lift, tires, wheels, and labor. I redid Everything , minus the stock 3:21 gears. Truck has plenty of power on 37's.
Installed a full on Carli Pintop 3-1/2” suspension with all the upgrades on my 2021 Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel Laramie Night Edition .. Sitting on 35’s with 17” Fuel Covert Rims.

I had some trimming done when the lift was installed. There’s was still a little rubbing. In the end I removed the front valance and the break damper and there’s no run at all. Removing the front valance also makes the truck look a couple of inches higher too.
Ok, nice. Sounds good. I definitely get some rubbing at full turn with 12 wides and -44 offset.
Did you loose any of your height settings with the lift?
Like the wheel and tire choice. Looks like a beast.
I would like to see a video on that hood👀
Yeah them drive thrus be getting me i just run the curves over i have a lot more rubber than rim so i dont worry about scuffing my rims
how did you get a lift with air suspension??? :0
@@wegotoptions9927 , sealed … I don’t like the howl of ported boxes
@@kalidad1 Ok, I understand.
Man great video!! I have the same truck - the air ride. Lifting my truck with a 6 inch lift next week.
@Fishing with Tommy Boy Thanks for the compliment and congrats to you getting ready to lift the truck!
man I wanna see that. are you using the rough country?
Get BDS best lift in the market.
Went with rough country
Not sure how to upload a picture
I have a 6inch lift on my 2002 ram with a 3inch body lift my keys are cranked up and i go through so many cv axles smh but i just got a 2020 i dont think ima lift it if i do maybe a leveling kit they can be costly
Beautiful truck, good luck building your channel I’ll be watching
@ Ricky Hicks .... Thank you for the kind words. I will be working on it.
Hello and welcome. Thanks for watching the channel and subscribing! I hope to see you on here soon. I'll reach out with any questions.
bro if you gotta take out a loan to lift your truck...dont lift your truck. you cant afford it
Just subscribe and so far enjoy your videos. I want a ram similar to yours and a hellcat. Keep up the good work
Thanks for your support as well as the kind words.
You must off road a lot to do this?
Man thank you helped a lot I want it just like that
I just subscribe because of the song in the intro , all praise to the most high
Amen! I want folks to focus more on Jesus and building a relationship with Him.
@@wegotoptions9927 I agree !!!
With your lift I would suggest putting 33 or 35 ihave 35 and there perfect
Did you void your warranty by lifting your truck…. I have a 2021 ram 1500 and I was thinking about getting the 3.5 ready lift put on mines
@@wegotoptions9927 thanks I have a better understanding now and I love the truck btw 💯
@Kevin Killings Glad I could help and thanks for the compliment!
@@wegotoptions9927 I appreciate it man, and no problem! take a look at some of my vids and let me know what you think, I would love some feedback!

@Bucball72 Lol you should lift it. Thanks for the shout out and please subscribe if you can!
But love the look of your truck nice set up
I have the lone star edition and so skeptical about lifting it. Because of all these reviews heard they don’t ride as good after lift
I understand. I was on the fence for awhile before jumping on in and lifting it.
BDS air suspension. 2" 4" and 6" options.
Wow that's crazy you still get some rub with that lift and the air bags alao
I got 2019 Ram 4x4 without air ride 6” BDS coil over lift with BDS upper control arms on 22x12 -44 offset
On 35s nitto ridge grapplers

I have a 2016 Rebel with air-ride. Think I may get bigger wheels 🛞 and tires with decent offset
Yes sounds nice! Please subscribe if you can!
I know you said it was a 5 inch lift but what company did you go with?
Hi it's a Rough Country lift for the air ride 5th gen. Please subscribe if you can!
what’s your average mpg now ???
That truck Straight pressure .. what tires you running? Got any recommendations on brands ? I have the same truck and plan on getting the same lift.
Hey buddy, where'd you get those fender flairs from?
Hello. Those are factory fender flares and came with the truck. I believe they may only come on the Limited 5th gen trucks or they only come on the Night Edition version of the truck. Please subscribe if you can!
excellent video. Thank you
Hey man, you just gained a new subscriber! Awesome truck and thank you for all the information. I do have a question….are you still able to control the height of the truck after the lift? Essentially does your air ride factory button still work and lift the truck even higher or lower?
Hi. Thanks for supporting the channel! Yes, the air ride does still function at each level.
Guessing it still resets to drive height if going over 25 mph.
(stupid safety feature, if you ask me.)
@@Hydra360ci Hi. Yes, it lowers somewhere between 20 & 25 mph down from Off Road 2.
what kind of ram truck is this?
Hey its a 2021 Ram 1500 Limited 4x4
Does your traction light come on when making a u turn?
Lol. I have only made one real u-turn that I can recall after getting the lift. No, the traction light did not come on. Please subscribe if you can!
Where im from , having an offset like that is illegal , 😤 dumb safety rules , but it looks amazing
Hey, who installed it? Just a regular kit shop? Or you went to the dealer
I had it done at a moms and pops repair shop. They do lifts on all kinds of trucks among other things.

Curious what the associated expenses are doing a lift with those tires and offsets ?
@William Moffatt The total is likely to be in the $7,000 to $8,000 range depending on the wheels, tires, taxes, etc. I'll do a video on the costs soon.
Do what i did, Take out an accessory loan (Im on my second loan of $14K) and do whatever you wish for a couple hundred a month Instead of trying to save around $6K or more just for the lift, tires, wheels, and labor. I redid Everything , minus the stock 3:21 gears. Truck has plenty of power on 37's.
