Poor calgon. Freindly fired right at the end. The fog of war strikes again. Your humvee survived everything. Even mortars that landed meer feet away (if not direct hits) only to be hit by a seemingly stray round. You even said the very famous last words seconds before it happened! Freakin arma gods man. Striking you down when your at your finest. ( that tow hit man. another hip down.) An amazing epilogue for and an equally amazing video. best 2 parter ever. :D
Love the Epilogue. Amazing how you always get the camera to capture people saying just the right things as you pan. The perspective this gives over the first person perspective is awesome and so different.
I love the one Bradley that was basically screaming "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISS" as he drove away from the T-72 that was on top of him :P
Well TOW Late parts I and II may have just become this year's 'Fire From The Sky'. In the same way I've seen the horrors of that mission from the angles of yourself, Beagle and Taconic, I'm sure it's only a matter of time until other ShackTac youtubers upload their PoV of this one. Really can't wait!
That was truly awesome. Thank you for making this version, I didn't really have the time for the main one, but I think I will try to sometime. It was as if it was directed.
Oh... so that's why it's an epilogue and not a part 2. =( Nice camera work Dslyecxi. I love these after-shots where you zoom around the battlefield taking in little snippets of other people's experiences.
Good thing that chopper pilot landed on the reverse slope, instead of the original LZ. Just 5 seconds later on dust off and those mortars would have taken out the chopper and most of who was left.@24:05 Was a great video, thanks for filming all of it.
You guys got overrun like crazy. Seemed like the whole time enemies forces, logistics, etc. were mixed in all over the place within BlueFor. I wonder how many guys got left behind like you were a bunch of times and at the end. Looked like one Bradley crew left while the other stayed behind at the end.
22:08 though, beautiful moment of film right there with the line of beleaguered defenders! them two Bradleys were inspiring in their defence, how many survived?
First of all: Your videos are amazing! When you are alive you get the feeling to be there with you and you also capture the heat on the battlefield while staying calm (for the most times). What I was wondering about however, was how do you capture the beutiful footage you do after you are dead? I mean, it seems like you always know where the action is or are going to be. Is that something a mod do, the engine, or your knowledge and understanding of where battles are going to happen? Anyways. Love your work and looking forward to your next video!
Dude, awesome Video.... I loved the Cinematic Movie Style showing the different perspective of POV's. When shooting this style does that mean you can't play in the game because you are recording?
silversleeper484 Obviously you can't both play the game AND be a free-floating POV cameraman at the same time. Not even Dslyecxi is *that* good. :P He usually switches to cinematic if he dies during the mission (as happened at the start of this video), and figures that the remainder of the battle is going to be epic. There have been several such videos in the past.
Is there anyway that when you are dead you can fly with that camera always in a multiplayer session to follow the battle better than the default bird? or is impossible and it has to be implemented previously in the mission?
Listening to a playlist while watching this. The Catalyst by Linkin Park was playing and hit the "Lift me up" just as the flyby through the chinook happened.
It depends on the mission, casualties, etc. Sometimes there are transportation people throughout, sometimes they're organized at the end from reinforcements. The goal is to have everyone in the action as much as possible, without forcing people to 'wait at base' as taxi drivers or similar.
Do you guys use a shacktac made mod for spectating or is this a cinematic camera of your own? Just thinking, since the group I play in uses a much clunkier spectating mod.
You mean M3A2 or M2A2, correct? I may not be the most knowledgeable about American kit, but I know enough to know that the M1A2 is an Abrams, not a Bradley.
Was this planned as a no win mission? It seemed as though there where a constant stream of enemy vehicle's and soliders. Also do you have to plan out these large scale player missions in advance? Have you ever had all of Shactac play as one on any mission?
Those fuckin' Bradleys are deadly little LAVs. If I were a T-72, or hell a T-80 for that matter, I'd be scared shittless if I saw one from even a kilometer out.
Thank god that Bradley was watching the other's back when that T-72 came over the hill. Shame a sneaky tank is what killed you. You guys did really well for only having AT and Bradleys against heavy armor and attack helos.
Dslyecxi, where all of the groups accounted for, I didn't see the second Bradley team enter the Chinook, I feel like someone of some platoon was left behind.
Poor calgon. Freindly fired right at the end. The fog of war strikes again.

I love that too. Wish there were more vids like it. I know he's done a handful, if that.
Great Vid.
Always impressive to see whats possible with good old arma.
War Thunder AND Arma? You have good taste.
and ACE*
And a whole bunch of other mods!
I love the one Bradley that was basically screaming "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISS" as he drove away from the T-72 that was on top of him :P
That was some crazy cinematic mission. Fucking loved watching it, I can only dream of playing something as epicly epic!
That was amazing. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos for us.
Famous last words "I'll be right behind you"- Dslyecxi
Well TOW Late parts I and II may have just become this year's 'Fire From The Sky'. In the same way I've seen the horrors of that mission from the angles of yourself, Beagle and Taconic, I'm sure it's only a matter of time until other ShackTac youtubers upload their PoV of this one. the haunting of shackTac , as Dslyecxi's spirit wonders amongst comrades looking to be rescued ,but none will be forthcoming !
Wow, just wow. This mission/video should go up in the ShackTac hall of fame. This was thrilling and breathtaking to watch.
This video, along with the former is without a doubt the most cinematic experience I've ever had in this channel. Bravo Dslyecxi! just magnificent!
That was truly awesome. Thank you for making this version, I didn't really have the time for the main one, but I think I will try to sometime.
It was as if it was directed.
These are so good. I don't know how you capture the craziness of a battlefield so well.
That ranks amongst my most favourite ShackTac videos of yours. Great free camera action and you let the pictures do the talking.
Oh... so that's why it's an epilogue and not a part 2. =(
Nice camera work Dslyecxi. I love these after-shots where you zoom around the battlefield taking in little snippets of other people's experiences.
Were those Dslyecxi's dying words? " I will be right behind you." ???
yep
Wow, that's heavy.
But with his last words, he took out an enemy bird... Such a heroic send off.
I just realized that he never abandoned the HMMWV, and that he also got obliterated with said HMMWV. Way to stick together to the bitter end!
This mission was surreal. Thank you for uploading it!
The dudes manning those Bradley's really constantly fought from the begging to the end. This video and the "original" one were awesome.
Who was the poor sap who took a dive out of the helicopter at 24:13?
I think it was Montag. He asks where his parachute was in chat as the helo lands.
Good thing that chopper pilot landed on the reverse slope, instead of the original LZ. Just 5 seconds later on dust off and those mortars would have taken out the chopper and most of who was left.@24:05
Was a great video, thanks for filming all of it.
I'm glad you did another video from this perspective. I know you'd probably rather play, but I love the spectator chase.
Please can u do one if these where u rp a war corespondent
A good day to TOW hard...
i really like the cinematics, sure would love more of them!
Very nice, you've gotten pretty darn good with that camera work.
Superb, thank you for uploading. I love being able to see the conclusions.
That was super epic! That's the first time I've ever seen anyone on fire in Arma 2 though. o.o
8:50 I did not know ArmA had "on fire" as a potential status effect, complete with unique audio. That's kind of terrifying...
that was f_ckin epic , that has to be 1 of the best videos on youtube, congratulations dslyecxi and keep up the great work, once again F_CKIN EPIC.
9:00 Horrors of war right there.
Bastard didn't go down without a fight though. I think he nailed one of the Bradleys. No way it survived if he did.
Really like watching your gameplay and really liked all the spectator footage
proof that solid game play and superb players make the game not graphics
RIP Calgon
Who else cried? With laughter.
Has he got any good stuff. Hehe
8:40 That tow and that screaming :P
OMG BEST VIDEO EVER MAN!! I'd like to see things in this perspective more often. Greetings from Brasil!
12:50 reminds me of war of the worlds with the military on the hill and the escapees :P
Watching Calgon die to that blue on blue was just brutal.
'yeah?'.....*bang* :(
We made sure to check his body for anything good. Circle of life.
22:08 though, beautiful moment of film right there with the line of beleaguered defenders! them two Bradleys were inspiring in their defence, how many survived?

One of your best videos. Loved it.
lmao that guy survived all that and got killed heading back to extraction area by friendly fire
That's so sad
that was so epic!

Really impressive vid. Thank you :) This footage really remind me of Wargame series.
Is there anyway that when you are dead you can fly with that camera always in a multiplayer session to follow the battle better than the default bird? or is impossible and it has to be implemented previously in the mission?
And after Calgon died..."There is another friendly over there by the helicopter." "Alright, well don't kill him." xD
18:05 hahahaha that guy fell out the back of the chopper!
Listening to a playlist while watching this. The Catalyst by Linkin Park was playing and hit the "Lift me up" just as the flyby through the chinook happened.
and it hit Beast by Nico Vega for the last liftoff, awesome.
Would love to see more vids from this perspective.
Unforgettable !
this was a pure 26mins of badass moment :D
you should make a Uber series with alot of pewpews brah \o/
That was a TOWtally cool video.
So who gets assigned transports? Particularly for the end game extraction? Is it people who just respawn and chill at the main base?
It depends on the mission, casualties, etc. Sometimes there are transportation people throughout, sometimes they're organized at the end from reinforcements. The goal is to have everyone in the action as much as possible, without forcing people to 'wait at base' as taxi drivers or similar.
I think someone jumped out of the chinook right after the second lift?
18:05 Epic. lol That dude fall out? "Oh shit...!".
Do you guys use a shacktac made mod for spectating or is this a cinematic camera of your own? Just thinking, since the group I play in uses a much clunkier spectating mod.
Those M1A2's really did some fucking work! Kudos to the crews!
You mean M3A2 or M2A2, correct? I may not be the most knowledgeable about American kit, but I know enough to know that the M1A2 is an Abrams, not a Bradley.
Why did someone fall out of the chinook each time?
You guys should do a medal type hand out many people died doing brave things that night.
some really great camera work
Was this planned as a no win mission? It seemed as though there where a constant stream of enemy vehicle's and soliders. Also do you have to plan out these large scale player missions in advance? Have you ever had all of Shactac play as one on any mission?
I just hate those "friendly fire" moments...makes me sad... when you witness that in real life, it leaves you an ugly scar.
Those fuckin' Bradleys are deadly little LAVs. If I were a T-72, or hell a T-80 for that matter, I'd be scared shittless if I saw one from even a kilometer out.
Didn't some guys get left behind??
21:50 Doin work! Holy crap that's a lot of fire.
Thank god that Bradley was watching the other's back when that T-72 came over the hill. Shame a sneaky tank is what killed you. You guys did really well for only having AT and Bradleys against heavy armor and attack helos.
Legendary
18:00 did I hear someone get killed by the ircm?
oh no! someone fell out!
you really should do more of these ;) great
like to see some of this spectator mode in some of your guy's arma 3 missions.
Who fell out of the chopper at the end? Lol, great vid.
Will Shack Tac use the new Zeus feature in A3?
Did the Bradleys stay behind and blow up every Humvee and Truck? Like a scorched earth policy?
I only saw one crew leave. I think they retreated on the ground.
19:12 further proof that waving cease-fire will have the reverse effect.
6:50 lucky bradley :)
´´Oh no!´´
´´Oh god, he just died...´´
´´Um, did he have any good gear?´´
Dslyecxi, where all of the groups accounted for, I didn't see the second Bradley team enter the Chinook, I feel like someone of some platoon was left behind.
did kevb0 just SURVIVED? This is a miracle!
I think I heard someone say kevb0's dead near the start of the previous video.
Their large coop session usually got 1 respawn chances, I think I heard kevb0 yelling during the chopper extract.
That was pretty awesome
that lucky bastard Bradly!! XD
I wonder how long this battle actually took. Also I hope I can get my PC fixed and send in a request forum to be a part of ShackTac.
is it possible to get first person view during this for key kills/deaths and general epicness
Nice upload, excellent camera work!
10:05 is the saddest thing ive ever seen.
Do kevb0 respawn I could of swore that he died early on?
Good Gods what a ride. Probably a few spots for the '14 Year In Review vid, eh?
awesome bradleys...
Full Metal Jacket ending song played in mi head the Mickey Mouse Club march
22:10 - 22:16 New combat strategy, fire while reloading xD
was this a mission that was created within the shacktac community?
All of our missions are created in-house, yes.
+Dslyecxi are there anymore missions you've done which are like this?
THAT is/was NUTS !!!
Is ShackTac doing sniper missions too?
Nope.
These kind of missions are far more interesting.
excellent chinook'ery
This was really amazing, If i only could join chacktac, but im 15 :/
Wonderful.
But that Teamkill haha
8:55 My god how terrifying
WOW! Just..... ... WOW!! :D
18:42 Started yelling at the screen...
Legen, wait for it......dary
