How do you avoid the battery shutting down? I just got a Buwizz and it keeps stopping and disconnecting and I don't have more than 1 motor per port. Highly annoying.
Avoid ludicrous with buggy motors. Also try to use power curves in the buwizz app. And always ease into the throttle, accelerating to fast results in a disconnect (overcurrent protection trips in the buwizz). The buggy motors have a huge inrush current at start, and 2 for 1 buwizz can be a problem if you need alot of torque. @@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 You should check out my latest video. With 2 Motors, it works quite nice, and i used it for about 2 hours now. I dont regulate the voltage.... i am using 3 14500 cells plus 3 dummy-cells, all together like regular batteries. But i have to say, i killed 1 rc-unit while using 3 motors with 3s lipo. I think the voltage is not a problem, but the current. I think ~10A is the limit. 3 motors @ 9v consume about 9A wich worked fine for me all the time. 2 motors @ 12v consume 8A wich should be fine. But 3 motors @ 12v consume 12A.
Great creation quick question, can you run a BuWizz 2.0 on ludicrous mode with 2 buggy motors attached with no problems? Or do you have to use normal or fast mode?
Thanks. Running 2 buggy motors off a single buwizz can give issues on lud. Disconnects happen when driving away on ludicrous, the inrush current is too high to handle. (Not just this model) This can drive in lidicrous when you "gear up to it" but i never really did it on this MOC; fast setting is crazy enough..

@@Monster-st8hb no just 4 were used here, fast mode worked best, ludicrous always gave issues. It all depends on the torque needed, (weight and gearing) 4 is enough for fast mode here 8 buwizz would enable ludicrous probably, but i do not own 8..

The buwizz app allows to add multiple buwizz (up to 8) for a single MOC. On the setupscreen with all ports you will find a small buwizz icon with a + in it. That will add another buwizz to that program. Let me know if you need help!
Hi, this Lego is so cool and I have a question. Wich Lego motors do you youse and where do do you buy this motors?
Hey thanks for watching! These are the 5292 motors from 2005. Very rare and expensive.. but buwizz released upgraded and cheaper versions for these. Check the link in the description!
Any chance of instructions?
AMAZING
Hi! Tell me there is an instruction for this tank ?
Hey. There is not at the moment. But i might make them someday, i get a lot of requests for it while i expected not many will have the motors for it.
Marxpek Lego Technic Design I think I saw a post on BuWizz' page, they're coming out with their own buggy-style motors.
Also, anyone who complains about the tank being "too fast to handle" should remember, BuWizz doesn't HAVE to run at Ludicrous Speed (it's just LOTS more fun that way - until the inevitable Splat!)...
@@jameskratzer4538 yes they are! I was even involved in the development 😁 just for feedback on the exteriour tho. But it should be good. I pre ordered 2 myself. Be sure to use my link if you do the same please! And stay tuned for a review/comparisson video on the new motor when they arrive!
How się you connect buwizz together
Use multiple buwizz at once? Swipe left on the buwizz app on the buwizz connectors screen
Will IT work with 3.0? Im thinking about buy to some project.
@@zgredekplaygamesgame it should work the same, i have only 1 bw 3.0 myself.
God Save the Overkill
Did you lose any of these rubber pieces on tracks? Do they stay put and never fall off even on this kind of offroad? Thanks.
They can come off and i did lose a few. But they are better than i had hoped!
Hi Marxpek. Ein großes Kompliment für Deine Arbeit. Könnte ich die Bauanleitung zur Ripsaw von Dir bekommen? Das würde mich sehr freuen. Liebe Grüße Bjoern. Und bleib gesund in dieser verrückten Zeit
Thank you! My german isnt that great, but this i can understand! Atm i have no instructions made for it, but i will one day post a video for it. Thanks for watching and stay healthy as well!
Thank you @@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3
How much you build me one for
So that's around $1000 for only the Buwizzezzess and the buggy motors. Nice! How does it go with half the power and motors????? 2x Buwizz and 4x buggy motor?
Yes it is a costly one..I havent rebuilt it with 4 motord yet. But i will later on. I have another.. even more expensive.. moc i am working on right now. It will be a good one!
Its like group b of lego
Wooooh, BuWizz is awesome and your creation too ! Congrats man. Why does Lego doesnt make motors as powerful as BuWizz ?? Power Function is BORING AND SLOW
Thanks! But this IS powered by Lego motors. Not by buwizz ones, those arent available yet. They are from the 9V era. So your statement stays correct: PF is slow..
Please tell me you plan to sell instructions for this!!! Take my money!
Wher are you buy the buggy motors?
On used market places, anywhere i can basically..
this is awesome! actually, i´d love to build that one too, as there is a set of 4 BuWizz and 8 Buggy-Motors... could you publish a set of detailed photos pleeeease? Winter´s ahead, and that looks like a decent challenge for my son and me.... Thank you for your great work!
Thanks for your continued support! I will make some good quality pictures and post them on my thread in the eurobricks forum in a few days. There is already a bit more background info and 1 or 2 more pics. I will add the link to the description in a few minutes. But: you actually own 8 buggy motors? Not a lot op people can say that😁
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 Great!! Desperately Waiting for the link ;-)
@@lospaul3316 link should be in the description. But i have not added new photos yet. There aee a few tho
@@lospaul3316 i have made some detailed pictures. You can find them on the same link as before from the description. Let me know if you need more details!
Absolutely incredible. I love the performance of this beast :) Well done!
Dont you build with the rc-units anymore?
Hey man! Long time no see! How are you doing? Thanks for the nice words and.. no not really.. buwizz is soo much more useable and more importantly: faster 😉
Hey, thank you, i am fine ...just really busy :)
At the moment, i am testing rc-unit with 3s lipo. I think the performance is at least as good as buwizz, but i cant compare directly. I will finish a 4buggy-motor offroad chassis soon.
Edit:
I just uploadet 2 short videos of the current 2 motor version :)
@@technicsummse2350 hmm doesnt 12.4v blow up internal capacitors in the rc unit? I recal an EB thread from someone trying to use lion batterys, ending up frying the unit after a while, are you regulating the voltage?
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3
You should check out my latest video.
Marxpek Lego Technic Design thank you so much for the detailed reply! It’s very helpful :)
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 THEN CAN YOU RUN 2 BUWIZZ BUGGY MOTORS ON A SINGLE 3.0 BUWIZZ UNIT?
:)
Cool!
Awesome Build I think it's fastest I'm planning to make my version but I can't find buggy motors 😭😭👍👍
Thanks! Maybe consider subbing 😁 the motors can be found on bricklink and ebay. But they are expensive as always.. keep your eyes open, and soon buwizz will sell these, cheaper and more powerfull, see the link in the description.
go on eBay and search up monster motor
Great
how could you destroy such a good lego set
wow
Soooop, you spent like 550 dollars om this?, btw. Can you make a muscle car that has so much Power that it pops wheelies naturly?
do you have instructions
Not yet.
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 thanks
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 when are the instructions ready
@@almikreis1886 sorry man. It will take a while. I have many projects (not just Lego, also becoming father of my third) that i prioritize. But i wont take it apart before i make instuctions for it.
ok
I’d love to see an 8 motored, high geared car. It would probably break all Lego speed records and you seem to have enough experience with that sort of power.
I already made a speedracer with 8 motors. Broke my own speedrecord off camera. But also broke 2 buggy motors and the entire model after a crash and i decided it wasnt worth it untill someone would break my current speed records. Also : breaking your own record isnt really motivating.
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 LOL not SO MOTIVATING but it could be very fun to do that!
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 so when you used 8 buggy motors, did you also use 8 buwizz units?
@@Monster-st8hb no just 4 were used here, fast mode worked best, ludicrous always gave issues. It all depends on the torque needed, (weight and gearing) 4 is enough for fast mode here 8 buwizz would enable ludicrous probably, but i do not own 8..
I am sorry i though you talked about the ripsaw, bit its about the speedracer, that had 8 motors and 4 buwizz, ludicrous worked but you had to power it up very slowly or the buwizz protection tripped.
can i buy it somewhere?
This is my own creation so it is not for sale. It is possible to recreate it of course. However ordering the parts will set you back well over a thousand dollar.. and i have not made instructions for it. There are detailed pictures in the link in the description.
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 ok thanks :D also you know the fake lego? lepin. it copied a hell ton of MOCS. so make the instructions paid or well only send them by emails, or not publish them at all. just a tip ya know :)
also this question will waste your time a LOT. i want to build mine for myself but i have only 4 functioning buggy motors.
so when you will be really REALLY REALLY bored you can make a smaller replica with 4 buggy motors and send the instructions to me?
you dont need to do this. only if you are going to be bored.
@@littleraptor9898 Hehe i am never bored.. i am working on something else atm.. but.. i will also try to make a 4 rc motor ripsaw conversion, more people have asked for it, so why not. However.. i do not know if i will find the time to make instructions for it.. but when i get bored i surely will😉
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 lel ok just take your time do whathever you want buddy :D
Nice! It is really nice to see this monster run XD did you experience any problems with the spinning parts due to the sand and dirt though? Since I own a tracked racer it really just failed in the sand... Or is that just cuz it's only two m motors and not powered up? 🤔
Thank you! Well.. lego and sand do not really mix.. that causes friction and damage. Does your tracked racer seems to struggle with sand in between parts or just sand as a surface? Do keep in mind that this machine has roughly 16x more mechanical power with 8 of these motors..
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 I ran it on a really slightly sandy dirt way on the playground and it blocked both tracks and I think it affected one of the m motors permanently, like it's damaged? Idk.. I took that away and replaced it with one m motor from a SF set I bought back in time and put that "damaged" motor into the fire department plane model 😂
@@Marlon_J. hi man
You can ask any offroad biker- this sand can eat metal professional links, if just little sand go in to your car motor - 0.5 Spoon- you can say bye bye to the engine in no time.
Lego plastic is nothing to sand- just keep away from it 😉
@@yuvallegomotorized aight lol and yeah ik the part with the sand into an engine am learning the job of a mechanic👌🏻 but since everyone takes their tracked vehicles outside and run it everywhere I wanted to ask if I did something wrong lol
@@Marlon_J. i think its just for the film or that you take the results it in advance, and buy spair parts
Epic o:
Thats my kind of lego
Honestly: I really want to know the speed of this vehicle!
I never measured it. But im guessing it is a bit over 20 km/h on fast mode. Ludicrous is too unreliable, but that would do roughly 25+ if you manage to control it.
But why has your orange Buggy with ONLY ONE buggy motor nearly the same Speed as that one with EIGHT?
Cant understand that.
@@legolas7470 the orange one is 18 km/h right? That is geared way differently so it has less torque. That car will never be able to take the hillclimbs this does. The ripsaw is fast but it was built for torque.
Yaa I would try to make a transmission so you can switch between speed and crawling mode.
Maybe you can make another car includincg that.
But the lego parts especelly the gears and axes will be very stressed I guess, have this problem even nwith the pf motors
@@legolas7470 wanna see a stressed axle? Check the teaser pic on the end of my waterproof buwizz video!
