- This is a productive episode despite another computer crash :) We're looking really good after this one!
If you want to survive a hard economy in Riverbend you better be willing to get to work for other farms (contracts) and if you're up for it, help rebuild that old grain building museum by finding those $10k collectables. The contracts take lot's of time but with volume they will pay off.
Let me know if you like the direction I'm going...I pre-recorded a few episodes (8 total) into the future so if you make a suggestion it might be bit before I can address it in game but I live in the comments and we'll be able to discuss right away there.

use an animal trailer to temporarily hold the animals until you build new husbandry
@@BlazingCoder84 hey thanks for the comment. Yeah, I had actually considered that. Just not sure that there’s one big enough to hold all of the animals unless maybe I got the one that goes on the back of a tractor trailer?
Switching the angle pays off 😂😂😂 this man out here teaching life lessons
@@SpenDizzy I don’t remember what I said to be teaching life lessons but it must have been good 😀😀😀
I like your videos good job
@@2lainefarm75 hey that’s a great comment, thanks! Glad you like them. 😀😀
So, I'm not sure where you are on getting the Tailor or not, but I can tell you that it's very profitable. And I think the building is only like $150k, so that's another option for your cotton farm. Also, there's a few warehouse mods that are pretty reasonable that can store pallets you might want to look at. Great episode as always. 😁👍
Hey thanks! I had actually written off the idea of buying the tailor after watching something...maybe Scroft? Whoever it was had done a comparison and it showed that if you go from fabric to clothing you'd be leaving money on the table....to be honest I don't think I confirmed it for myself so maybe I should?
@northernfarmsim Ultimately, that's completely up to you. On easy economy, i think 1 years worth of clothing was nearly $700k. If you do end up doing it, don't forget to set your spinnery to distribution instead of storing.
@ oh yeah that’s big money….who knows, I might do it eventually just to try everything out. If that series goes the entire life span of FS25 we’ll need to try a lot of different things in game 😀
Lodgepole pine takes 40 or 44 months in game to grow, oak takes 24 American elm is 40 or 44 months also scotch pine takes around 120 months to mature
@@2lainefarm75 oh wow Oak is fast… Well, I just bought a pallet of 240 oak seedlings, lol. Let’s see how fast I can crash my game! 😀😀
@@northernfarmsim my game was fine except for the more info mod had trouble with them. I planted 600 oak 300 lodgepole and 300 American elm mostly grown now give it a minute when reach full grown helps it lagged right away then is fine no lag after the first time on
Also the oak I cut close to ground Ang eat about 21,000l each and lodgepole pine I get about 5,000l so I’ve decided to put pines through woodchipper and get about 20,000 chipped from each pine
@@2lainefarm75 yeah I think I discovered that late in FS 22 that the Woodchipper multiplies the volume which is pretty cool. I’ve chipped thousands of trees in the game and I have nightmares every time I think about it now, lol. Man your tree farm must’ve been something to see… That’s crazy.
@ easy to chip the pines go through whole
I think it’s the bees flying sound
@@2lainefarm75 that would actually be a lot nicer than flies, lol.
