The whole crew has been struck with the affliction of floating limbs, and a sudden need to wage war against seemingly innocent unknowables. I have also noticed a high usage rate of sci-fi jargon in our logs as of late. The deepspace sickness maybe taking the crew. In the event that my sanity is taken from thus madness, Ensign Channel has the codes to release neurotoxin gas in the deck. May Cthulu guide us.....wait, Cthulu?
Two things we learn here, firstly that Ellen is willing to be the healer in an MMO and secondly, that Mike really rocks it in a minidress. One of these is more surprising than the other...
Yes, I mean really who wants to be a healer? These guys get so much flame all the time, how can you play that?

I love how Mike is the pilot by default nowadays, while Andy is the shooty shooty guy.
And although Jane and Luke might be the ones fighting over leadership, it's Ellen who decides where the power goes.

Well, Mike is the guy who loves racing games so much he has a full-on arcade style racing cockpit to play Forza. Just watch the video of Mike vs the Stig to see how much Mike loves racing.
Mar Hawkman I know, I've seen it. I've seen almost all of the xbox vids mate :-P And of course all the xtra vids since it was created more recently.
I remember the gta multiplayer vid where they said that the comments basically crowned Mike as the pilot of the three (before xtra was a thing, I think) and it just makes me happy that everyone accepts it. :-P :-)

I love how the captain has to do nothing but delegate and order around the others. It must be Jane's dream job, especially with the hidden perk of just firing torpedoes at unknown spaceships.
But still I somehow feel the Oxbox and Oxtra Crew would be better as space pirates, there's no court-martial for renegades.
Jane is the opposte of Picard. Doesn't even try to reason with the Klingons. Goes in for the kill, which is ironically what a Klingon would do
Diplomacy is all about finding common ground. Raining fiery death upon your foes is something Jane and the Klingons can both appreciate, with the unfortunate complication that the Klingons are dead afterwards. But their relatives back home must surely have come away with a heightened regard for the Federation.

I don't think that Jane's gone torpedo mad, just regular power mad! Soon she'll order the crew to fire the kitchen sinks at the enemy and then it's only a matter of time until some red shirts are ordered to clean the torpedo tubes only to find them clanging off of an enemy ship!

The CastAway DC I would like to see all of them take turns as captain. Mike would be Captain Zoom trying to make the fastest time around the galaxy. Andy would just stay in historical simulators all day. And Ellen would be Admiral Giggles von Adorable, the cutest leader in the Federation

Seconds later the sounds of Jane's maniacal laughter over the cries of Klingons wanting their mums, drowns out all other comms as she makes her way through the airlock to say 'hi.'

This is my current favourite VR game to watch on youtube, the interactions are hilarious.
Now if only Doctor Who can finally get some devs who can make a proper game.
Problem is that the only genre that could support a good Doctor Who game would be a point and click adventure.
Well, if you combine Star Trek Bridge Crew and Virtual Rickality, you'll get a pretty cool Doctor Who game.
You can work with companions at the console, do tasks and solve problems, go out on the field and sonic some things or just shoot them when needed. It would also be awesome to just visit places through out all of space and time in VR.

Have to say that I'm supremely disappointed in the pointed lack of adherence to Starfleet procedure at not calling a Red Alert when fired upon.
On the other hand, the complete adherence to Section 7482.1 of the _Starfleet Rules of Post-Battle Conduct_ entitled "Proper Use of Celebratory Handgestures" is quite welcome.

This game looks amazing. The book, "Ctrl+Alt+Revolt" - set in the near future - had a detailed VR Star Trek game, and until now, I didn't think anyone would want to be anything but the captain. This game shows me how it is possible to make it fun (of course, having the right crew is essentially, and the Ox-Boxtra crew would be the best to crew with. (though...we might all die before long if Jane has command...)

When Luke is the captain there are no hostiles but when Jane is the captain there are a crap ton of hostiles it's like a real depiction of what Jane does daily in order to defend her space empire

This whole thing xD. It worries me for the future of humanity when Captain JaneWay is saying "Yeah shoot the stuffing out of it!". Less worrying is Mike casually observing that everything is on fire... again. I swear he should be equipped with an OXBOX branded fire extinguisher.
