I have been to this mansion and it's awe-inspiring. I took millions of photos and every corner, every pattern and detail was so beautiful. I love it. Hope to go back again on my next trip to Paris. I love Baroque, Rococo and neoclassicism and this place is ideal if you are into that sort of details.

That was excellent! When i go to Paris this is the first place im going. Its like Versailles would look if it had all its furniture! I also relate to the owner. I too have had a chaotic life and now live alone in a home filled with antiques. I actually collect Sevres myself. I cant control what happens in life, but i can control my surroundings. I like them to be beautiful and calm. I like old things because i can imagine all the other people who have owned these things using them and traesuring them and then i dont feel lonely at all.

I believe Camondo was an early client of Durand Ruel and purchased several paintings from the school of 1830..

What power? This family was destroyed. You want real power look to Saudi Arabia, Russian oligarchs, Luxembourg and more.

Some families are not meant to last and die without leaving descendants and my family was one of them if it were not for my grand father who survived and carried on our blood, fyi ours is a tribal royalty blood.

Poor jews, invested in art instead of Torah.
