*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*
it is possible but not verry common, as most people with type 1 diabetes become aware of something is going wrong at age 10-15. If she didn't lost any weight and doesn't seem sleepy and unergetic, it can be just she likes drinking water. People with type 1 diabetes loses weight in time. Any case, i don't know really how much she drinks out of ordinary (nor know whats normal for babies) so if you are worried, it may be best to go to a doctor and get it checked.
A referral to an endocrinologist might be advised. A third type of diabetes called diabetes insipidus causes thirst and excess clear urine. It's nothing to do with blood sugar, rather how the body regulates fluids in the hormonal system. It occurs from birth in those affected.
This is everything I wanted to grasp that my textbook failed to explain in sufficient depth. You managed to go deep AND remain crystal-clear, thank you so much !! I love that one main process explains all the vastly different complications.
Brilliant explanation of how the high glucose level from diabetes damages the blood vessels and the complications that can arise. I haven't seen any other explanation that is so detailed or so clear, thanks.

This was great, thanks, I have been researching "is tingling a sign of nerve healing?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Renogan Uncomplicated Remedy - (just google it ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to eradicate diabetic nerve pain and neuropathy without the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my brother in law got amazing results with it.
Winner of a video, I been tryin to find out about "what happens when blood vessels are damaged?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Piyatalie Breathtaking Precedence - (just google it ) ? It is a smashing one off product for discovering how to get rid of type two diabetes without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin got great results with it.
This is just superb, been searching for "diabetic neuropathy treatment guidelines" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Piyatalie Breathtaking Precedence - (search on google ) ? It is a good one off guide for discovering how to get rid of type two diabetes minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got cool results with it.
Armando - sensational as usual. You have helped me understand complex topics through my undergrad in Sport Science and now in my Masters of Nutrition. Thanks for your fabulous videos.
Awesome video. The illustrations capture your attention, keep you entertained, and greatly help convey the concepts. I'll be watching more of your videos. What a great way to study! (as long as people are actively taking notes throughout)

This is such a good summary on the pathogenesis of diabetic complications.
My diabetic condition is fearfully complicated to me with this very smart breakdown of this complex medical human disease. I will watch many times to comprehend, once to respect my doctor's orders!
Wow! Excellent video. Very thorough and easy to follow. Thank you!
becomes soo easy with your presentation.
Thank you soo much
Clear concept , this 18 min video is much much better than our theory books and other coaching mafias .....thank you ...❤
Excellent presentation. Thank you. I recently had someone tell me that diabetes has nothing to do with blood vessels and that it's all about the immune system. There are clearly many misunderstandings regarding diabetes amongst the general public.
It was very informative and helpful. Thankyou!
I like your lectures and teaching notes + wonderful drawings.
Brilliant. The best comprehensive explanation i've ever found!

Thanks a lot for the amazing video.
Wow, that was a great explanation. My sister had a foot ulcer, and she used an antimicrobial shoot in solid PodoPhylus. The insole slowly releases iodine gas that keeps the foot and shoe aseptic. The wound healed nicely..
WOW! awesome video. excellent artistry
Excellent,
You have made pathophysiology of Diabetes easy.
Thank you 🙏
Excellent Video! I'd suggest putting a notification/annotation on the video at 4:16 saying GLUT-2 over the mistaken GLUT-4. Thanks again for an excellent video and hope this helps :)
You have amazing skills, please continue doing this great content

Brilliant application of diabetes as a whole. As a diabetic person, I hope no one else has to go through it and that they find a cure for it soon. And if anyone's wondering, yes I'm fine.
I workout basically everyday of the week and have been using gluconize so my health had been great!
awesome video- thank you so much
Nice video, I bought Ambrosia Nightrider cgm to monitor glucose which works great with my Libre sensor, their alarm feature is very helpful during night, it also gives alarm alerts when readings are not in range.
U and ur videos are a blessing from God to all medical students ,thanks for existing 💖
Thank you so much for the video
What an amazing visual explanation

You're a really good artist and I loved this explanation. Thank you! My question, does meat affect insulin uptake? I heard that the nitrites and fat from meat can affect the insulin receptors. Is this true?
Awesome question. I would also like to know!
Thank you, you use your skill for explaining the things. Vascular change, 11:48 is what i looking for. I try to imagine it while reading textbook but it so hard, i think this vid is really helpful although there are some missed words, i just need to match it with textbook and it works well. May your kindness be repaid
You can get cured by Doctor Oseiwe on UA-cam with his harbal medicine,🌿🌿🌿 to cure diabetes and some other disease permanently 🌿..
It was a great video! I think u should attach a picture of whole summary in the end!! Or even during video when its close to end zoom out to have better view of whole chart of summary!
its very helpful videos
Excellent explanation!
Thank you for the video, i have a question... The LDL can cross to the tunica intima within the proces of diabetic disease? Or is only when the permeability is compromised by this proces?, because in the hipercholesterolemia is the important factor wich care the atherosclerosis, and i never see before that the LDL need the changes of the permeability of the endothelium...thanks a lot I'm studing for the last test the degree test and this helps me a lotpor cierto soy mexicano y no se escribir muy bien el ingles
brilliant video
Excellent video bro
Beautiful explaination!

great work👍
Thank you!
i love love love ur channel.
Very nice teaching ,👍👍
Thanks so much
This. Was. AMAZING.
Please address concerns in comments regarding insulin resistance in T2DM. Initial beta cell failure is causative in DM1. T2DM is initially caused by insulin resistance. Your presentation style is fantastic! Would love to see this error corrected, as others have mentioned.
Thank you
Awesome and comprehensive review. I'm not sure of your comment at 5:52 saying insulin resistance (IR) develops because of low glucose secretion. It would be interesting to hear your break down of the molecular pathophysiology of IR and your suggestion of the causative role that hypoinsulinemia plays.
From what I studied the first issue is the insulin resistance and that the decrease of insulin is actually the result..
That’s because beta cells get larger and increase in numbers because they think the body needs more insulin (because of high blood glucose due to the resistance)and eventually die. And when they die you get lower insulin secretion
So comprehensive👌❤
Nice one...please is there any detailed video lecture of diabetic foot ulcer? Thank you
This is a rescue channel for sure!
Just awesome...
Excellent
just amazing
super thanks..
I love the drawings
You nailed it

Nice video sir
Finally found the video I needed
More then outstanding.great
Thank you for this video! 👍
I am an Aerospace Engr. Feel like joining Biology after viewing this. Thanks.
Crystal clear...!!!!
Armando, at 5:56 you sad that without enough insulin, insulin resistance is developed. Somehow I'm not sure that is the case, cause insulin sensitivity is restored if you have lower insulin level in body through time. I didn't find any studies which implies that lower insulin level will lead to insulin resistance. Can you post your resources about this particular? Thank you in advance.
You are correct. Type 1 diabetes is where insulin-dependent. Type 2 is insulin independent, because you have the insulin there but your cells are not sensitive to it. This video is highly inaccurate with respect to DM2 mechanism.
Right, that's what I was thinking. It is usually due to lifestyle choices, leading to consistently high blood glucose, constant secretion of insulin leading to receptor de-sensitization or re-uptake hence cells no longer respond to insulin.
+siyang2 yup ..u r right .initially there will be high insulin but resistance due to postreceptor level ...hence there will be downregulation of receptors...obesity is common cause for resistance due it's deposition in muscle and other tissues affects mitochondrial activity resulting in insulin resistance..
My thoughts too. He never explained why insulin resistance happens that leads to Type2. If he can eloquently detail the physiological pathway of excess glucose entering the endothelium of the blood vessel causing a chain reaction that lead to blockage, why can’t he give more details why the Insulin receptors of the cells stops responding to insulin and receive the glucose for fuel or for storage? If it is hereditary, are there genes that synthesize proteins or other hormones to “desensitize” insulin receptors? Or how obesity contributes to resistivity of these receptors? Or do these receptor degenerate with age? How come there are young-ish people developing T2D? Or what are the mechanisms of gestational diabetes, which shed light on how to avoid or cure it. Or why diet was never mentioned as another contributor (quantity and quality of macros we eat : carbohydrate or protein); or what is the interplay of glucose and fatty acid inside the cell that may cause insulin resistivity?
