Installation was easier than I initially thought it would be, but once I separated the hardware it came together quite easily. I like the thinner aluminium profile of these boards. It also gives the truck a custom look since these boards aren't mass produced like the stock running boards are. I also like the fact that these boards being aluminum, won't rust. These boards cost less than half of the price of the stock running boards too. I would recommend these running boards to anyone looking for a sleek, clean, affordable running board.
I just saved $75.00 watching this video,I'm installing on my 2011 Chevy ,thanks for the video

love the harbor freight impact LOL! Thanks for the video guys!!
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing Dean and Gary! Love the comparison between iBoards and stock running boards :)
Thanks for watching.
nice video! great looking truck and running boards
I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra with aftermarket boards. They are holding up well but it's the brackets that look terrible with tons of rust. Looks like your will rust as well ? The boards look awesome !
My buddy was saying that about bracket rust from the beginning of the install. The stock brackets have a plastic cover over the metal to at least conceal any rust. Thanks.
Wow does he have the fastest ratchet I ever seen
Yes. We are super fast! Lol
Wouldn't it have been easier to mount the brackets on the frame first, then rest and bolt running boards to the brackets? After finishing watching I see that you guy's smartened up.You may want to invest in a impact wrench. Still a very informative video. Thanks!
Perhaps we'll see. I'll be doing a second video on these boards soon. I have a 2017 Silverado now and will be installing the 6" iboards on it. Thanks for watching.
I'm assuming that the parts starting with a "L" means it goes on the left side of the vehicle and the same for parts starting with a "R" goes on the right side. Same methodology for "F" meaning front and "B" meaning back.
Looks good.
Sounds logical. Thanks for watching.
I think you live in Gates - correct?
How'd you know?
I was born in Rochester and raised in Henrietta. Got 3 brothers up there, one in Victor and 2 in Henrietta.
Another awesome video man! How's the arm coming along?
Thanks. The arm is healing great. 7 weeks out and feeling great. I just need to take it easy for until about 16 weeks.
Thanks for sharing Now I can put on my truck🛻👍
Right on! thanks for the comment
Need to apply some undercoating to that frame
Ok
Good looking upgrade...
Yeah. Not too shabby. Thanks for checking em out. It was a bit long but you know how that goes.
Yep, that's how you tell the whole story on a how to vid... cheers
Question, what size stock rims are those and are the tires all terrain? Or mud?
Would you recommend the 6"? Is it too big? Would the 5"be better?
Yes. I really like the six inch running boards. There is a link in the description if you're interested.
Question will a 2014 to 2017 running board fit on my 2010 silverado 1500 crew cab, the new box came with 3 brackets my current one has 4 brackets
You have to check online.
Would you recommend aluminum over stainless steel?
The aluminum is much lighter and cheaper so that it what I would consider when making my decision.
hey I just wanted to ask you guys what you think I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 in white I have some Chrome on it but my rims are black do you think I should go with this one or one that's all black
Sam Megliorino
if you like the black accents then go with black but personally I like Chrome myself.
paisteboy cool man thank you for responding just one more question do you think 5 inches is cool I really don't know I want to actually see it but I can't
Sam Megliorino
I'm about to put 6 inches ones on my new truck in the next couple of weeks.
Sam Megliorino
5 will work though.
