Have you noticed in your own experience that "cerebral connectivity" or coherence of cerebral connectivity can vary subtly and not so subtly due to the way you live and what happens to you in life? The outer aspect of this involves eating good food, drinking good water, sleeping well etc. A more subtle aspect of this is our relations with our own self and significant others as well as just people in general. What might be all the variables and qualities of life that can have an effect on our mental health and our sense of well being? What effect does acute and chronic psychological anxiety and fear have on the brain's functioning? Have you noticed in your own experience that you function more intelligently and skillfully when you are not distressed about life, that is to say when you feel physically well and psychologically well care for? On the other hand, a truly healthy brain and body will respond to stress/pressures and challenges effectively and even take delight in them. [Are there different levels of this "healthy brain and body" that we know as a "sense of well being" such that the deeper this sense of well being, the more effective the brain can function especially so during periods of stress?] Whatever the brain is in its totality; we can say it needs sufficient psychological security to function optimally. As to how the brain can be conditioned please take a look at the example offered on pages 197-201 in the book "The Body Keeps The Score" (2014) by Bessel Van Der Kolk M. D. Thank you and may this new youtube channel go well.
