I've had my ML Theos ESLs for 5 years now. I don't think they've reached the break-in period yet. Great sounding speakers. Just never listen to them.

as a long time B&W speakers owner i've always admired Martin Logan they are truly different with their Electrostatic technology- i had some planar media 9 computer speakers from monsoon use similar TFT (thin film transistor) and the sound is much faster/responsive than traditional woofer w/tweeter.
This seems like a great company that really cares about delivering a great product to its customers- obviously they are not cheap but you get what you pay for. And they are made in the USA- which is important

Workers leaning their heads above the Electrostatic panels without no hairnets makes me uncomfortable.

what about room temp? How does it effect the sound and panels?

I've had a pair of ML Sequels for about 20 years and I still love them!
However, about 10 years in, the stat panels accumulated too much soot from candles (and our fireplace). So I contacted the factory and they sent me a new pair (at a reasonable cost). Installation wasn't difficult and they are just as wonderful as always. I don't burn so many candles these days.....

Funny thing is.. the workers building those speakers, will never be able to afford them becuase they cost 11.000 £ . Totally overpriced speakers compared to how much they sound. Take a pair of speakers for 1000£ and put them next to the Electrostatic ML - blindtest - and you will not hear a 10.000£ differense..
If i pay that much for a speaker, i expect them to sound like 11.000 £ even if i drive them with an old reciever amp from the 70´s.. Otherwise its not just the speaker that delivers the sound, its the whole system - and the system as a whole, doens't only cost 11.000 £.

I hope they pay those grunts at least enough to afford Andrew Jones Pioneer towers.

That's not entirely true. I have a pair of ML speakers and I can't fault them. It literally sounds like the musician is in your front room. You do however need a powerful amp to drive them. They are very power hungry and the source material needs by high quality.
