Absolutely beautiful broken or not. I love bolder opal. There are so many different looks for it. You are for sure never going to get the same looking stone twice.
Very nice 👍! I don’t think there’s an Opal I’ve seen that I haven’t liked. I like em all ! I’d really like to get started cutting opals and also carving some boulder Opal as well. I’ve got a few ideas for boulder Opal I think would really be a hit in certain spots in the USA. Keep up the great work and thank you for the lessons !
I have just bought my first piece of Queensland rough very similar to yours. Great video and very helpful tips. Going to check out your carving video next. Cheers.
Came up quiet nice a shame it broke in two but now you have two nice stones thanks for the tips and explanation of the process , I have only been cutting opal for a couple of years so people like your self on you tube have guided me through the learning process I use the same tools and polishing methods as yourself so thanks heaps for sharing your knowledge 👍🏽😁🍻
Personally I would set it with a full sized silver back and a wrap around fancy bezel to show as a single stone. Too nice to separate. Silver would make a nice contrast.
You said, "this isn't necessarily what ppl are looking for in boulder opal" but those milky pieces are exactly what I've been looking for. You gonna have any for sale next Thursday?
Thanks for your interest in our boulder opal. I am attached to all of my opal and reluctant to sell it, at the present. :-) All I can say is, to search our eBay store from time to time, you might see some of these pieces for sale there.
@@diverseopalproducts all your pieces are polished. That's my favorite part, so I only buy rough. Oh well. Thanks anyway. Keep the great content coming. Cheers
