Thanks, maybe the information manual that comes with the adapter needs improvement and not just a quick over view. As I had to find this video to understand it as the manual is pretty poor. Apart from that I can not fault Megger at all. Great bits of kit.
Hi, a few questions please? Does the auto test carry out just tests on the 6mA? what if the EV charger has an internal A type RCD? I noticed the auto test has the AC rcd symbol not the A or B type? well it does change when it reaches the Ramp test. hope you can shed some light on this? thanks
my 1741+ won't do the 3-Lo EFLI test when set to Mode 1 or Mode 2 with ICS & Zappi charge points. The EVCP displays a 6mA DC fault. I am using the Megger EV adapter and the firmware on my 1741+ is v4.04
Anyone experienced bad Zs readings on meggers? Been using meggers for 8 years and at the moment we have 4 of them. And measuring Ze my newest 1741+ gives 0.09 and other older ones 0.23 which is more than double.. yes we tried to swap leads but it doesn't help.. in last couple years we also had 3 testers faulty which had to be replaced.. and all of our testers calibrated- but I dont believe they doing Zs testing when calibrating testers, not sure what they taking money for to be honest.. maybe just to prove that 1ohm resistance shows 1 ohm on tester🤔 Ev adapter also got fried and cp error button got stuck after like 4 uses.. Think will be moving to fluke in the future

Hi I have two questions
1. What reading would you expect for the ramp tests I'm getting 4.5
2. Should the charger reset itself between the ramp tests
Can you confirm please the EV charging testing unit only works with a 1741? I have a 1731.
