Hey there, we're Alicia and Liam. Less than a year ago, we embarked on an incredible journey to document our van life adventure. From converting our camper van with our own hands to setting off to explore the world, we've brought you along for every step of this journey. Today, we're here to share something important with you: the reasons why we've decided to stop creating videos in youtube together about our life on the road. This decision didn't come easily; it's something we've been contemplating for quite some time. Ultimately, we've realised that our happiness must come first.

Hey ❤ just want to let you know that I know a Van-Life Couple from Germany having the same conflict. The woman does not feel comfortable in front of the camera and the man loves it. The man decided to start his own channel ☺️ both are happy now.

I understand very well how can change you lifestyles if you always filming. For me sometimes it's hard to take photos, because I'm just in the moment. After I wish to have some memories, but in the moment I just enjoy it.

So true! I have these feelings all the time. In the moment, I want to enjoy it and I don't want to be annoying, but then I do regret it when I don't have the memories! I think I'm trying to find a balance between both things. It's harder than you'd think.
I'm with you, I am not the type to grab the camera/phone but thoroughly enjoy looking back at content captured by others 😊
I'm sure is very hard to find a balance.
I just my bought my van to convert it in my dream. This was 1 year and half ago. I'm stucked, I can work to build my dream. Is in front of me, the van, I have a lot of stuff i need to start and more than start, but....no balance in my mind. Maybe is just overwhelming, or maybe is fear.
Just enjoy you are together. Is so important to have somebody to be there , to understand you, to love you.
I totally get that overwhelming feeling. Planing the project, like sitting down, and writing down everything you need to do and then divide it by phases, really helped us. When you have a clear vision of everything you want to do, I feel it is a lot easier to tackle down the tasks. I may make a video sharing the notion templates I created for that.
This is probably the most honest video from content creators I have seen on this platform. I pray all goes well for you two, you are a lovely couple.

It's ur life& I don't see why u should obligated to share it wth the world! It's like u have many food or other instructional vids where the individual doesn't speak or appear infront of the Camera,that w/b my style!

Carry on with this one, you already have over 1000 subscribers and once you reached the required UA-cam views/watch hours it’ll be easier to monetise , you can always change the name and rebrand it. Good luck

It's a hit or miss if channels will make it big enough to cover the time sink. I feel you guys are an attractive couple and your videos generally follow the meta. If you don't enjoy doing something for free than you will not enjoy it for money either.

Oh, guys, your are so good in what you are doing. It was a pleasure to see the conversion and after how you enjoy your vanlife. But if it is better for you, yes, stay away from vlogging. You are more important. I really like you like a couple. Pkesse, just leave the canal open. It could be useful for some of us to watch your van building. And never know, maybe after some months you will feel to share some moments from your journey or some updates about you.

I know.. we had a small boat where we can live in and I LOVE it, but my hubby don't. We where boating for 3 years and than he cannot do it anymore. So I feel you both. LOVE!!!

Maybe you will stop in Transylvania when you go back from Turkey. I'm in Cluj now. I have a big yard where you can stay in your camper, if you want to visit near by. 🥰 I host already other vanlifers in the past.

You tube is swamped with van life videos, they can all become a bit samey..... To increase your subscribers and grow the channel takes a lot of effort, full time. The ones who make it look easy have it sussed but easy it is not..... Enjoy the moment for the right reasons, you are very lucky to have the freedom to travel, most of the viewers are stuck in a nine to five with rainy days..

Alicia, lo que vas a leer va a ser MUY duro pero me pasó lo mismo y tomé la mejor decisión. LOS SUEÑOS SON MÁS IMPORTANTES QUE LAS PERSONAS QUE NOS CRUCEMOS EN LA VIDA, te lo explico mejor. TUS SUEÑOS son como fuego que no para de arder adentro tuyo, hacen que tu panza se mueva y vibre FELÍZ y si bien un compañero de vida es importante NO HAY UNO SOLO, PODES ENCONTRARLO EN CADA ESQUINA, máxime siendo linda chica como lo sos vos. Más o menos vas viendo por dónde estoy yendo y sé, ES DIFICIL, pero continúo.
Imaginate vivir una vida en la que tus sueños TE PIDEN A GRITOS QUE VAYAS HACIA ELLOS, QUE LOS TOQUES, QUE LOS HAGAS TUYOS pero vos por otra persona no lo haces. El problema con ésta situación es que NO ESTÁS VIVIENDO TU VIDA SINO LA QUE OTRO TE MOLDÉA A SU IMAGEN Y PLACER, lo cual implica que ÉL SÍ ESTÁ A GUSTO, NO VOS y esa será una mosca que siempre tendrás detrás de la oreja, como chupar una fruta sin poder morderla, TE COME POR DENTRO Y ES UNA BOMBA DE TIEMPO PORQUE PUEDE EXPLOTAR EN UN MES, UN AÑO O EN CINCO PERO TERMINA EXPLOTANDO (y el tiempo que perdiste NO SE RECUPERA JA-MÁS)
Con todo ésto que te digo no te estoy diciendo que te separes PERO que analises bien LO QUÉ DESEAS y CON QUIÉN ESTÁS ENCARANDO EL FUTURO DE TU VIDA. Aclaro que no digo que Liam sea ma.,la persona, TODO LO CONTRARIO pero quizás no es quién encaje con todos tus sueños, es dificil pero se nota que tenes ese hambre y sed de vivir una vida de aventuras en una van y que de hacerlo TE AUGURO UN CANAL EXITOSO porque se nota en los videos que TE DESBORDA LA PASIÓN, VIBRAS TAN PERO TAN TAN TAN FUERTE QUE SE SIENTE DE ESTE LADO, claramente VIAJAR EN VAN ES TU SUEÑO y por suerte solo te necesitas a vos para cumplirlo.
Podrías ser como AME IN A VAN, ella viaja en su van, te va a encantar (aunque estoy SEGURO que ya la conoces), COMO QUE TE VEO ASÍ COMO ELLA, LIBERANDO BELLEZA (porque sos muy linda fisicamente, joven, alocada, desenfrenada y tenes pasión por la VANLIFE) Y VIVIENDO AVENTURAS INCREÍBLES (imaginate estar recorriendo toda Europa y luego cruzar el charco y terminar haciendo la ruta 66 en EEUU camino al Cañón del Colorado jaja que locura PERFECTA), yo te veo, YO TE VEO VIVIENDO TODA ESA VIDA, TRANSPIRANDO AVENTURA EN CADA KILÓMETRO.
Mucho más no tengo para decir, la idea era que sepas que quizas tenés que pensar más en vos y no tanto en los demás ya que los demás muchas veces no hacen ni un pequeño esfuerzo en pensar en nosotros y mientras tanto se nos escapa la vida entre los dedos y lo peor es que nos damos cuenta y no hacemos nada y no creo que vos seas de esas personas.-
Creo que te llego el momento de tomar GRANDES DECISIONES ALICIA.-

Estoy de acuerdo contigo en muchas cosas, cumplir tus sueños es muy important y sobre todo estar con alguien que quiere que los cumplas. Me alegro que tu hayas tomado esa decision, lo que es mejor para ti.
En nuestro caso, vamos a seguir viajando y disfrutando de la vida. Yo tengo muy claro que voy a seguir haciendo videos.Y Liam me apoya en esto al 100%, es solo que el no quiere se parte de ellos. Al principio me daba mucha pena, pero ahora lo pienso y me alegro un monton. Asi puedo hacer los videos mas yo!

Siii, tenes que renombrarlo y continuar viajando con la van! (viajando con la van más luz no podes irradiar, se te ve brillando, se nota que te apasiona) y lo del canal en español sería espectacular, claro que con ambos cnales tendrías mucho trabajo en cuanto a edicion y estar atenta a los correos, redes sociales, etc., pero imaginate vivir de lo que te gusta, viajes, tecnología, el mundo digital, UA-cam, etc., y después se te abren más puertas de ingresos (patreon, cafecitos, unirse de YT, donaciones, onlyfans jajaajajja este último es broma).-
Te deseo lo mejor aunque no hace falta PORQUE TE VA A LLEGAR POR TU FORMA DE SER, entendés bien lo que vende en las redes sociales en general y en ese sentido te moves, pensá que iniciaste el canal con cero suscriptores y ahora tenes MÁS DE MIL (a veces no nos damos cuenta de lo que vamos logrando).-
