    I sure am jealous of all the lovely spring and summer veggies everyone in the US is planting, winter veggies seem so boring in comparison. Just thankful we still have lovely weather in winter so I can still have some veggies

    You said you'd do an episode on grow lights in this video but I don't see one. Could you if you have not already? I've had terrible success with all of my grow light set ups and I really feel like picking the right ones will increase my overall success! Thanks in advance. You guys rock.

    I planted my first garden fall 2020. I’ve watched lots of videos and taken notes, as well as the hands on this past fall. I decided to go through your back to basics series in preparation for my spring garden. Thanks for the info!

    You putting cartoons in the background.... Don't think Cindy is cute enough? LOL
    Suggestion, use tweezers to place the seeds in the cells.
    Rain often falls at an angle in NL, Canada.

    I started the tomato seeds I got from you guys about 2 weeks ago. They have all sprouted and are doing very nicely under the grow lights. I also just started the squash seeds 2 days ago. A few already sprouted, waiting for the rest. I started the swiss chard and kale even earlier and they are doing great as well.

    Just bought some seeds from you can't wait to see how they work for me down here in tx. My 3 and 4 year old girls are wanting to get back to the garden .. I'm propagating my mulberry trees right now in my garage and starting some indeterminate tomato seeds to clone a tomato plants try to and they're enjoying that really enjoy your videos by the way. Some really good information been gardening for 16 years now but still have alot to learn and always will. Y'all had really good pricing on your seeds and ones I can find like at Home Depot or something like that and I rather give my business to someone like y'all if i have the ability to do so. Anyway this is getting a little too long winded . Keep it up

    Love your channel. Thank you for your videos. They are so helpful. I have had a veggie garden twice. This year I started my tomatoes and peppers from seeds. I don't have a grow light. 2 days ago I transferred my tomato seedlings to a bigger container and also to cover the stems for more root growth. Now, the leaves are yellow. I'm assuming it's transfer shock? Will they survive? What should I do? I'll be so sad if they die. I've worked so hard nursing them to life. Thanks again!!! P.s I literally have no idea what I'm doing. My 2 veggie gardens were a success only by luck. But, this year I'm determined to gain knowledge and do it better.

    Thanks for your videos! My husband and I are enjoying your channel, we came across you guys a couple days ago. We're thinking about testing and learning this summer and since we'll be moving later this year we don't want to get too much of a setup that we'll end up having to move with in a few months.
    So my question is: What should we do if we don't have grow lights? Or space for them? How can we germinate seeds and start "learning by doing" in the cheapest, space-friendliest way? We're renting now so we won't be building raised beds either. Hoping we can figure out a way to at least grow something before our move (we're excited!) Thanks in advance :)

    We still struggle with seed sprouting on seedling trays, under cover, in a mini greenhouse like the one you built. Our peppers and tomatoes never germinated 😭😭 maybe there's watering tips or temperature tips we don't know off.
    We read about the crusty top film formed blocks the seeds from sprouting. I'm not sure...
    Please show more of seed to seedlings to transplanting tips, mini steps..

    Loved this seed starting one from last year, so I ordered the trays and started with them this year. So my question is, what trays do you put under them to keep the water in to water from the bottom? They don't fit in any that I can find. I had a so-so start with them, I think I will start some more and wait until they sprout to put the lights on. I just always put them on immediately. Thank you!!

    How do you double dig I am not sure of what that means? Is it a bad idea to invest in saffron seeds and not for money but for having in the closet for flavour in my foods and cooking? The problem though is it's very expensive for the seeds

    • @Error-eb9gv
      @Error-eb9gv 7 років тому

      HuntMaster you know how it is harvested right? how much space do you have and how much is it worth to you I think is the real question? I have considered it for a long time but it was never a priority for me. If you love saffron I know you weren't asking me but I'd say go for it.

      Have you heard of one yard revaluation? He has been a huge help to be since I fell 3 stories and ruined my back. He explains a lot of methods to avoid unnecessary work in the garden.

    • @egraffius
      @egraffius 7 років тому

      HuntMaster : I've done every form of gardening from raised bed , to no dig, to double dig, to aquaponics. They all have their pros and cons. Double dig was the most labor of all. Pretty good results though. Find what works for you. I like my GroBuckets since I don't have the time for the other methods but one day may try the methods of The One Yard revolution. I still maintain my aquaponic system and may do a video on it soon for the GroBucket channel. If you have the space try all methods at once. Good luck.
